By virtue of invasive, transient visionary perceptions which her sub/consciousness makes, shuttling to and from the past, Sarah incorporates, then projects the one-of-its kind saga of the Babylonian captivity Jews, tripping back and forth to their history's milestones: from the episode of their epic, though torturous march to Babylonia, chained, and yoke-lined by their ruthless invaders, via the humiliating episodes of the irremovable tokens they carried for their inconvertibility to Islam, to the farhood infamous episode, and the later Baghdad gallows. By squeezing her people's narrative into a unique 'History of Pain', Sarah distills and bodies forth the dilemma of Iraq's Jewry into a revealing, and at times shocking story, incarnating Sisyphus' futility as an archetype, not of the "Wandering Jew" only, but of "Man the Wanderer".
