Children Are Like That is a collection of stories gathered and lessons learned at The Children's Farm, a nonprofit school in West Lakeland, Minnesota for three- and-four-year-old children. The program emphasizes fostering the child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth, using farm animals, the garden, and nature as their learning environment. Included with each child's story are thoughts for parents and teachers, both practical and personal, to help guide and encourage children to become contributing, respectful, and successful members of society.
