Busi imagines the animals by dressing up in the cloths and pretending to be the animals.

Mimi loves dancing and she dances everywhere. She can't stop dancing. Her grandmother gets angry, because she is always dancing away from her. One day they go the market and Mimi keeps dancing away from her Gogo and getting lost. Her Gogo decides to take her home. But on the way home Mimi starts to dance again and she dances all the way home by herself.

This is an information text about different kinds of animal dances, from the round dances of bees to the way springboks pronk and dolphins leap. The vocabulary load in this book is quite heavy, but it is well supported with photographs.

This book provides information about the different kinds of costumes that are used in dances. Different categories of dance are included: African dancing, gumboot dancing, ballet, modern dancing and other dancing.
