This is a true account of one life, Nadine's, in a Children's Home of the 1950's. The setting is in USA, Northern Kentucky.The recollections are written in memoir form to share and convey the many happenings and events portrayed within this multi-yeared stint of time.

Hundreds upon hundreds of young adolescent males are missing/kidnapped by a well-meaning, yet cult, Christian military organization called 'The See'. They have devised and supplied 30 sites across the nation. The children are kept in concrete, underground, lavishly constructed compound bunkers. They are in training to become men and soldiers. This extensive military and Bible training is to hopefully save the country from downfall and destruction. However, 3-4 years down the line, these abducted, now teenaged children are to be reckoned with by the society

I decided to write this book for general posterity and for fun Many of us, especially as we are aging, are given to the sentiments of the pure nostalgia in our hearts and our very senses of the most wonderful time of the year Projecting our memories of a by-gone era is both rewarding and interesting. While this book is about Christmases, this season also prompts the intertwining of lives lived in a set time-frame. So many people can relate, join in with the remembrances of others. It can never be emphasized enough to our youth that there really was a kinder, gentler time during the generation before them. Most of this book is about the late 50's to early years of the 1960's.
