Writing 'The Wanderer' was the most fun I've had writing a children's book. Living in several different countries and visiting many more has helped mold a more universal perspective that I hope will be visible in the writing. Hopefully you will enjoy not only the new direction of the poems, but the new illustrations as well. Thanks again for your support

Happy Journey is the second book in the Teachable Moment Series collection written by P.E.Harris. As with the first book 'The Door', Happy Journey explores wide-ranging topics, some of which allow the parent, teacher or guardian to teach life lessons, while simultaneously entertaining the child. A great teaching tool that will hopefully instill a love of reading at a young age, in addition to being fun and insightful.

The Door is the first book released in the Teachable Moments Series, an ongoing collection of (almost) free children's books by Texas author, P.E.Harris. A fun book of poetry, with subjects ranging from day-to-day life and activities, to slightly more complex issues that allow the parent, guardian or teacher flexibility to teach and guide as they go. All books in this series are $0.99 (lowest price per site requirements) to download electronically, and physical books are available at production costs only.

Pete the Baker is a story about the values and rewards of parents supporting their children's dreams, creativities and interests. Based largely on the author's own childhood, it will hopefully provide the young reader with a few lessons on generosity and compassion, as well a fast, enjoyable and entertaining read.

The Brave Captain is a story about a young girl that had a dream and pursued it, in spite of widely held beliefs regarding gender norms. She overcame obstacles, and with her parent's support, challenged herself to overcome fears and trepidation to reach her goals. At a young age, confidence building was not only recognized by Jayce herself, but by those charged with her development. Despite the inherent dangers and pitfalls of her dream, she had the foresight to realize that overcoming fears now would help her tremendously throughout the course of her life.
