This book is written for a fairly selective audience: those beyond age 55 who feel a need to review and improve their retirement financial plans. All of the strategies, specific techniques, and examples in this book focus on the needs of those in this critical phase of retirement planning. While grounded in solid financial theory, the book takes a very pragmatic approach, describing investing and planning techniques drawn from the experience of the author. Readers can use the material to either do the financial planning work on their own, or to more efficiently work with CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professionals.
