Worlds Without Number is Kevin Crawford's fantasy OSR game of sandbox adventure. The rules in this supplement add solo play to that game. It uses a simple set of rules to push decisions out to dice rolls. These answer yes-no style questions, control NPCs, and events outside your character's control. There is an icon-driven oracle for creating concepts. These are used to answer questions that cannot be answered yes or no, and for creating features of your adventures.I also the technique of custom oracles. These are a simple d6 table with four entries, two more common, and two less common. You will create these on-the-fly, as you play. They add a level of detail that is perfectly customized to your style of play. There are plenty of examples of creating these instant, bespoke tables.
Alone in the Dark: Solo Rules for Blades in the Dark
Alone in the Dark is a set of simple Solo play rules for Blades in the DarkYou Need This BookBecause all role-playing is improv and solo rules support that improvisation. Even as a group GM these rules will help when you need to create exciting games with little or no preparation. It uses simple tables to replace the GM with dice rolls and your own improv. skills. What makes these rules unique is that they stay as close as possible to the core Blades mechanics so you don't have to 'stop playing blades' to use the GM Emulator and then have to get back into character. If you have played Blades in the Dark then you can use these rules. If you are familiar with using Fortune rolls then you will instantly recognise and understand the logic behind this supplement.Solo is a perfect way to learn a new game, test your first adventures and going beyond just making characters when you are first getting to know the rules.

The Sticky GM This book is all about making running your role-playing sessions more dynamic, responsive and simply more enjoyable for you, the Game Master/Dungeon Master/Keeper of Secrets or whatever your favourite game calls it. The game makes little or no difference. You are just as much a player as those on the other side of the screen, it is just your role that is different. You deserve to have as much fun as they get. The Sticky GM aims to make running role-playing games more fun. The Humble Sticky Note The suggestions in this books centre around using sticky notes to organise every element of your game notes. Creating a structure that can be changed on the fly to ratchet up the tension or build a more convincing world. If something is in the wrong place, you can quickly move it to the right point in the story. This is not one of those massive tomes on game mastering technique. It is a short, step by step, practical guide on how to organise your game notes in a different way. If you apply this method to your gaming, you will get to use more of the great ideas you come up within your games, you will have less frustration when players walk right on by your plot hooks. Even combat scenes will be more exciting and dramatic.

The RolemasterBlog is a fan run blog written by GMs and players of probably the best roleplaying game ever written, not that we are biased About the only thing that Rolemaster does not have is a community of small independent adventure writers. People who write and publish their own adventures for the rest of the Rolemaster fans to play and enjoy. The reason for that is that the monsters that you need to create those adventures are protected by copyright and without monsters it is nigh on impossible to create adventures for most campaigns. In this issue we have gone back to Rolemaster's roots and converted the original D&D monsters, this time from 5e, back to Rolemaster so anyone can use them. This first collection introduces 15 races from Ogres to Owlbears and Kobolds to two headed Ettins. You can use these monsters to surprise your players in a regular game or as something new and exciting for a new campaign.

Brian wrote recently that he had published nearly 200 documents for Shadow World on the Rolemaster Blog and the Rolemaster Forums. What I want to achieve here is bring these together into the first printed edition of Brian's Alternative Spell Law or BASiL as it has become known. It is my understanding that BASiL is a working document in that it is still evolving and new spell lists are being introduced all the time. What I will publish here will be the aggregated documents that Brian shared on the blog and the supporting articles.
