German cooking without great influence international cuisine - is it still excisting? Yes, it is. I made a culinary expedition through Germany to, looked into German pots and experienced alot of German home style cooking. That and all food and receipes I had in mind from my mother, who was a great and creative cook, is summarized in more than 190 receipes in my book "Deutsche K che - kochen in Deutschland". This book was written in German language.

Burger and sandwiches - this allows many options and variations. One can be playful or imaginative, conventional or extravagant and one never misses the subject so fast. In this book I focused on hot sandwiches. I know the sandwiches I created are actually not referred to as a "sandwich" because I don t use toast but buns and steaks, schnitzel and other meats with salads or vegetables and gravy. Everything should be eaten warm or lukewarm and is not just a snack but a complete main meal. The burger, that are strictly speaking also no real hamburger, can be viewed as the main meal, too. Here I wanted to show with how many different meats, various sauces and other supplements a rich mix in different flavors can be done.

Mit etwas kreativit t und nicht so blichen Zutaten kann jeder "normale" Burger und jedes "normale" Sandwich ein Highlight werden. Cooking in summer shall be done quick and easy, without the need to stay in the hot kitchen for a longer time and without much circumstances. But it also shall taste well. We can make barbeque day by day. It s great but it can become boring by time.
