From the time he was named the Dragon Rider, Peace had known he would someday become King of Highland. From the time of his hatching, Ember, his dragon, had known he would someday reign with his master. Now the pair will face their final test before they can ascend to the throne. For centuries, the great Kingdom of Highland has governed the land of Tarenthia with legendary wisdom and fairness. Ember struggles to overcome the divided loyalties of his heart while Justice must fight against his own nature to avoid avenging himself upon the dragon that betrayed his brother. Against all odds they must now fight one last time to outwit their relentless opponent as the final hour approaches.
