A woman's journey continues as she tries to find proof that "they" are really there through odd coincidences. "Dates and Thymes" begin to take on a whole new meaning... "Momma momma, do you believe?" Parents will often let their children beli ve even though they themselves really don't. "A black eye? Why are they telling me black eye. It is about me. I don't think I've ever had a black eye and I really didn't want one. That was in the morning. In the afternoon, I went outside into the hot sun. I came back in and went to the ladies room. I looked up in the mirror and said to the girl next to me as I was laughing, "I look like I have a black eye." My eyeliner had smeared around my eye from the hot sun. Oh, I thought to myself, that is why they were telling me "black eye". They play all kinds of tricks like that on me now. Oh wait It's not a trick. It means something... Does it make a difference if they tell us bits of our future ahead of time? I still have to live my life. I still want to help others. None of that changes..."

I could see as I got toward the end of the flower hue...how many I was going to have to plug...pluck to be left with "he loves me". The hue of the flower would be gone, but I wanted my heart to be plugged with his oVe...lOVe. It was a childhood game, but it was important. It was part of the hopes and dreams. The same ones that were thought of as the little dancing ballerina twirled around on her wedding day... Peace and the ending of the first part of the EcarreT series. A world where everyone cares. EcarreT is done. The bubble of love has burst. We are left with the evil on "the rock". They left long ago, but they still want to help. Why won't we let them? I will. I will. I will tell their stories. Bad cop McCreary and the others will not win. There will be at least one record in print of what really happened...

Well, it's about that time we have "the chat"...not the one about the birds and bees... Aunt Elm & Uncle Poc aren't getting any younger these days... We need to start thinking about who is going to help paint those walls every year when Aunt Elm needs a new color...
