In einem Tal am Fu e eines wundersch nen Bergs, umgeben von einem dunklen Wald, gibt es ein Dorf. Jeder, der dort geboren wird, erf llt eine bestimmte Aufgabe und niemand muss sich die Frage stellen, welche Bestimmung er im Leben hat. Das Leben des Einzelnen passt sich dadurch dem Leben der Anderen an. So wird das Dorf zu einer harmonischen und selbst ndigen Gesellschaft. Das Dorf wird beraten von drei Weisen. Sie k nnen die Bestimmung eines jeden erkennen und vorhersehen. Niemand stellt die Weisen infrage. Jeder im Dorf identifiziert sich vollst ndig mit seiner Aufgabe. Jahrhunderte lang herrschte Balance und Harmonie, welche von den Kr ften des Universums bestimmt wurden. Bis eines Tages ein Kind geboren wurde. Dieses Kind, ein Junge, kann nicht sprechen. Sein Verhalten ist verwirrend und ungew hnlich. Er passt nicht in die Gesellschaft des Dorfs und die Aufgabe seines Lebens ist nicht zu erkennen. Je lter er wird, desto mehr beginnt sich der Friede im Dorfs aufzul sen. Die Leute verlieren ihren Weg, als w ren sie verhext und zum allerersten Mal k nnen die Weisen nichts vorhersehen.
