Meant to be read cover to cover, but it is written so, and out of order so if a person has a moment, can turn to any page and enjoy an antidote, or storyline without losing your place. Primarily humor, but deals with mature themes, which can relate to many if not all. Goofy things that boys do, funny, but also the serious matters, mature themes, but with sensitivity. All stories are true, and cover mostly hilarious trouble three brothers can get into growing up poor in a trailer park, with nothing but time on their hands. And they can surely find it. Amazing where you find adventure, isn't it. It does address lightly on things such as addiction, prejudice, abuse, and grief . The book however is for entertainment, and I think you will find it overall a fun read. Most can relate, for themselves or someone they know. A roller coaster of stories, fun, real, and represents the fun of living and the discovery of just about anything. Just 3 young boys, trying to figure it out, and they make a lot of mistakes along the way. You'll have to read to understand, you will laugh, say, "oh my God " Certainly you will say, "I did that." Not with all, but you may have memories you have not visited in a while. I do hope you enjoy.

It's really a cluster of short stories, silly antics, tragedies, and triumphs. It does tackle some mature themes, but people who have lived through them will relate, such as death, abuse, addiction, sex, but anyone who has gone through these things will relate, and those topics are covered with sensitivity. Growing up in the 70's many will relate and even have a laugh hearing these stories and certainly relating to one or many of them. Fun read, a roller coaster to be sure, hope you enjoy. 1st book in a two part group of stories. Kings, it's follow up will be available by years end. I hope you enjoy it's playful nature.
