Wilted to Full BLOOM is the story of a single mother's journey to providing a better life for herself and her children. Many circumstances cause her journey to take several twists and turns to survive life in the inner city ghetto. Rose Marie's story begins with her being raised by a single mother of fourteen children, her mother's struggles and the impact of Rose not having her father in her life while growing up.This memoir is a true account of the struggles and hardships Rose Marie faced growing up in the hood with teen pregnancy, police brutality, and drug use. Unfortunately, throughout her adulthood she encounters issues with domestic violence, prison marriage, drug smuggling, sexual harassment and more.Rose Marie worked very hard to get out of the ghetto, and out of the welfare system. She graduated from college, finds what she thought was the job of her dreams and gives that job nine years of her life, and in return the job gives her the fight of her life.

Cooking has always been my passion. I believe cooking to be an innate talent because it just came naturally to me. Receiving praises and compliments on my cooking from families and friends motivated me to write this recipe book. I pour my heart and soul into the food I cook, and these recipes are no different. I encountered many challenges, adversaries, and rejections on my journey here. But I always believed in myself and my goals. I never gave up on my dreams and eventually achieved.

Confrontation is interrupted as well as an amazing New Year's Eve party when Effie learns that Sam has been kidnapped. Pea encourages Effie to strengthen her psychic abilities; abilities that Pea supports as a gift but Effie views as a burden. In a collaborative effort with Damon, Mike and Leigh they set out to find Sam and are awed by Effie's guidance. Confusion sets in along the way as the visions that Effie receives are a mix between the past and the future. Will she be able to sort out her visions in time to save Sam? This adventure becomes one that no one will soon forget and one that pushes them all to their limits. The course that this dynamic team is on leads not only Effie to question her feelings, but everyone else to question their own feelings, strengths and fears.
