Steve Walker was a professional comedy magician and MC. He was born in Yorkshire but lived most of his adult life in Sydney, Australia. After Steve's death, his fellow magicians helped to sell his estate and discovered a small note book. From 1953 until 1963, a young Steve had written down over 700 jokes, gags, one liners and wise cracks from TV and radio. What we have here then is not only a valuable source of funnies, but a unique peep into British Variety in the 1950s. Steve's friend and colleague Sean Taylor has not only deciphered the jokes, but adds his own impressions of Steve, some funny stories and even a complete transcript of his 45 minute magic act. Remarkably, the jokes were old when Steve heard them and yet, 70 years on, they are still remarkably fresh and familiar. So whether you are a magician, ventriloquist, Variety enthusiast or MC, or you just want to spice up a speech or presentation, this might just be the book for you.

You Are God: The 3 Core Powers of Success
"A well-prepared guide to success, this book is a rare combination of informative, inspiring and useful. Don't wait to read it. It is a great read for everyone." Kevin D. Johnson, CEO of Johnson Media Inc., Author of The Entrepreneur Mind Everyone wants to live the best life they can right? Of course they do, which is why people have goals and constantly search for the best ways to achieve them. People seek out all kinds of sources (books, the internet, school, seminars) in hopes for answers. The question is, why do these things often fail to work? Why do people's attempts at goals start strong, but then burn out? The truth is these blueprints do not matter unless the 3 Core Powers of Success are applied, knowingly or unknowingly. Individuals who reach the peak of their practice may require certain specialization, but no matter what a person's career or life mission is, all successes are built on a version of the same three cores. History has revealed these 3 Core Powers as non-discriminatory. The greatest heroes and villains have all made use of their power. Students, teachers, entrepreneurs, world leaders, athletes, monks or preachers; the list goes on and on. These are the fundamentals to achieving success in anything. Learn them and you will succeed as well. In You Are gOD: The 3 Core Powers of Success, author Sean Taylor, is artfully succinct in sharing these principles for readers to use in their own lives. This book is mind shifting. It opens up a new world. Once read, affirmations of the 3 Core Powers will constantly appear in everyday life.

WINNER of the Oscar's Book Prize 2024!Laugh and learn with this picture book set in the days WHEN DINOSAURS WALKED THE EARTH! Dinosaurs chase each other in this hilarious explanation of the food chain. …like the Smallasaurus, who enjoys a plant-based diet, and Badasaurus who likes to eat small dinosaurs who enjoy a plant-based diet. It all begins when Smallasaurus has to think. And thinking can be a problem when you only have a brain the size of a walnut. Luckily, Badasaurus only has a brain the size of a peanut . . . and so begins a hilarious game of 'cat and mouse'. It’s not long before their chasing here, there and everywhere attracts the attention of an absolutely enormous and rather hungry meat-eating dinosaur called Worseasaurus. A choice of two dinosaurs is just what Worseasaurus loves for breakfast. Will she eat the small dinosaur, with a plant-based diet? Or will she eat the great big dinosaur, with a small-dinosaur-based diet? It doesn’t take long for her to choose. And it doesn’t take long for Badasaurus to find out. And that’s how it sometimes was back in the days . . . WHEN DINOSAURS WALKED THE EARTH. This exciting picture book shows kids just how much of a dinosaur-eat-dinosaur world it once was! Bring the prehistoric period out of the classroom and to life on this vibrant journey with dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes. This is the perfect way to introduce the concept of the food chain to little ones in a fun and interactive way.
