Three generations of a southern women come together in a face off with death and each other. The buttery, fried food flows plentiful, the wine glasses are full, and the cigarette supply is endless. The baby of the family will always be the baby. The oldest can't help but take charge, and no one even noticed that coffee table until it suddenly became up for grabs. Throw in a frantic search for the will, two people at the funeral in the same dress, and the recipes for over 20 classic southern dishes (straight from the author's family vault) and you are guaranteed to laugh, cry and laugh because you cried.

This play, based on the novel, Barbecue, Fried Chicken and "Where's the Will?", also by Shanna Riker, is a light-hearted family drama. It is a play in two acts that follows three generations of southern women as they deal with an important death in the family. Mothers, daughters, sisters and friends come together to help each other survive, in the only way southern women know how: Reminiscing over buttery, fried food; generously poured wine and an endless supply of cigarettes. The Robertson living room is filled to the brim with love, bickering, heart-warming memories, and the inevitable question: "Where is the Will?". As everyone deals with their own grief, they all know that nothing can be put to rest until someone finds the will... and finds the family jewels.
