On a lovely sunny afternoon in May 2012, Michelle Prince and I were discussing books, topics and other people's stories. Our conversation turned to McKinney, Texas (our home town) and it's magic. It was just ranked "#2 Best Places to live in America by Money Magazine 2012". The city has accolades from Forbes, Best Life Magazine and CNN Money. It is also one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. As our wonderment continued we shifted to the people - specifically, powerful and fascinating women in our community.
