Love on Line: A True Story of the Love Between Two Mature, Christian Adults Who Met on the Internet on a Christian Website
Shelia lives in Kentucky, divorced and 76 years old. Paul lives in California, widowed and 80 years old. Both are devout Christians. Both are looking for something more in their lives. Thanks to a website called Christian Singles, they both find it. It begins with a simple, one-line email, but it soon blossoms into a relationship that grows more special on a daily basis. Will the 2,000 miles that separate them in the real world keep them apart, or will they find a way to make their love work? Love On Line is a true tale of two people who, after believing the romantic times of their lives were over, found each other and made the most of the gift God gave them. The story of their new and growing love will remind you that there is no such thing as "too late" when it comes to finding someone who can change your life. About the Author Shelia Kinneer Robb is a retired operating room nurse, a mother of six, and both a grandmother and great-grandmother. Writing has become her new passion since retiring. Love On Line is her third book. She lives with her husband and cat in St. George, Utah, where she volunteers with the Dove organization, a shelter for battered women.

It was 1963 and after eleven years of severe physical abuse, a miracle happens. Twenty-seven-year-old Carol has a slim chance to escape. Scared to death because she knows that getting caught mean the worse beating of her life, or maybe worse. Luckily, Carol and her five young sons do manage to escape with the help of her sister and her husband. Driving for three days and nights, the three adults and eight children under the age of ten, arrive in California. Carol has no work experience nor does she have a driver's license, but she does find a job right away but at minimum wage of $1.00 an hour. She walks to save the bus money. She finds stores in out of the way places that sell food cheaper than the supermarket. Every evening after dinner, she cooks again for the next evenings dinner. The food is not fancy but is good and the children never went hungry. Life for Carol was difficult but she didn't mind. Compared to the life she'd left behind, live now was wonderful. Every day was better then the day before. At least now, they could all rest peacefully at night secure in the knowledge that they would be attacked while they slept.
