A new collection of poems, short memoirs, articles, and short fiction by 29 talented authors from several of the Wichita, Kansas Senior Centers. For some of the contributors, this is a first-time experience in getting published. For all of them, this is a long-time dream. There is a variety of pieces included to fit various reader's interests. Some of the memoir items will touch your heart. Some of the short fiction pieces will make you smile, maybe even laugh. And some will make you think. There are also many enjoyable poems in several different styles. This collection will give everyone some good reading.

Lucy is a hedgehog who loves her small family and her home on the beach. She has never thought she needed more or anything different. Suddenly everything is changing and she is worried. They are moving far away to a new place. Her family is growing with two people she has never met, and with another family pet: Sophia, a guinea pig. Will everything be okay? Will these new people like her? Will Sophia like her? She wants to be brave about the changes...but it is so hard.

Blossom is an adventurous and curious cow. She has a big imagination and good friends, including Ferdie the Bull and Steve the Rooster.She loves her life, even though the cow herd leader disapproves of almost everything Blossom does.Then her farm world changes and she is worried.Blossom worries about adjusting to new owners anda new family. Will they accept her the way she is? Or must she change to fit in? Along the way, she gains a new animal friend in Matilda, a sassy and independent cat.

Blossom the cow is missing her human friends, Katie and Annie. They are visiting other family. Sad, she sleeps late and dreams. An exciting dream. She wants to share it with her friends. But she is still sad. Until she decides to sing and dance her way across the field. Singing always makes her feel better. Then she gets three surprises and the day is even better. First, her cat friend Matilda finally sings Second, she meets a new friend, Hamish the Scottish bull. And third, both bulls sing for them all.

They don't mind her dancing around the fields or singing to them. But Elsie, the herd leader, thinks she is silly. Hamish, a Highland cow, arrives on the farm next door. He is different from the bulls she knows. She wants to make friends with him. But will he think she is silly, like Elsie does?

Blossom loves summer and is happy to spend more time in the field. Her friends Steve the rooster, Matilda the cat, and Priscilla the goose are tired and returning to the farmyard. But she doesn't want to go yet. Then the sky darkens, and the clouds look scary. Something is wrong. She senses danger. Oh no She should go somewhere safe, but she can't. She must find her friends and the farm family. They need to be safe too.
