When you hear the word wilderness, you might think of a land where there is no water, no food, a dry and harsh environment. True, the wilderness may be all of that in the natural, but more than anything it is a spiritual appointment that every believer and every child of God must visit in order to experience God in a way that reveals His presence in your life. It is this presence that comes to give you the victory over death, Hell and the grave. He ushers in Holy Ghost power and the ability to speak the Word of God, so that you are able to resist temptation and walk in victory. No one is exempt from the wilderness. If Jesus, the Son of God, who was man and God at the same time, had to endure a wilderness season, then we must all go through that proving time. The wilderness is a place of humility, edification, chastisement, preparation and disrobing before God. It is an experience that every man and woman is called to face and overcome.
