This book is a brief memory of my life between the years 1975 and 1995 in Rushden, Northamptonshire. It is open and frank and talks about the happiness and the heartbreak during this time. Life can make you feel great and it can make you feel dejected and miserable. Like most people I have had plenty of both in my life. In some parts of the book it felt like life wasn't worth living but fortunately we can climb back up and start again. When the same thing happened again, I wondered how I'd be able to go on? This is the second book about my life, the first one From Zero to Eighteen in Hayes, is about my childhood and how things were back then in Hayes, West London.

This is a book about my life between 2002 and 2015. Life has many ups and downs. I talk about some of the highs and lows in my life during this period. It involves several changes during that time some of these caused by unexpected deaths on two occasions. I called the book on and up, because I felt, my life had moved on in a good way.

"Where Do I Go Now", I found myself asking...Life had a dramatic change during late adolescence for Steve. His carefree life was very quickly altered by some very tragic events. Life can kick you down and kick you again, before you have the chance to get up. A moving true story. This book looks at the life of a boy from Hayes. It shows his journey from boy to man, follow his life through happy and amusing and occasional very sad times. He believed it was a normal life. Life was certainly different from the 1950s through to the 70s. You will laugh and cry as you read of some of the twists and turns of a young boy's life. At 50 he felt it was time to write his story down for others to read.

This is a book about the very difficult period after I split up with my first wife. I think the title sums it up, The Wilderness Years. That's how I think the period feels in my head. I wasted crazy amounts of money on drink and bad women? As always things worked out great and I move on happily eventually
