Even on the moon and the sun there are living entities. What is the opinion of the scientists? As scientists say there is no life there. That is nonsense. There is life there. As scientists say there is no life on the moon because they did not found any there. Why do they believe that? The moon planet is covered with dust, but within that dust the living entities can live. Every atmosphere is suitable for life- any atmosphere. Therefore the Veda's describe the living entities as sarvagatah which means "existing in all circumstances". The living entity is not a material. Although encagedin a material body, he is not material. But when we speak of different atmospheres, therefore we refer to different material conditions. They say that the moon's atmosphere is unsuitable for life, but all they can legitimately say is that it is unsuitable for life asthey know it. The Vedas say that the living entity has no connection with material things. He cannot be burned, cut, dried up, or moistened. This is discussed in Bhagavad Gita. Scientists extend their knowledge about life on this planet, thinking that it must apply to life on other planets also. Yes. They are thinking foremost of their own selves. They are thinking limitedly, in terms of their own circumstances. This is what we call, " Dr Frog's philosophy". Laughter. From earliest childhood we are encouraged to think of ourselves as unique individuals and to develop our individuality. From the spiritual perspective this is an illusion strengthened by the present world view which emphasizes individual rights and personal freedom. By emphasizing our differences and separateness and ignoring our community and ignoring our commonality, we are assuming that we are physical, rather than spiritual beings. We talk about freedom and personal fulfillment, but because our understanding is limited to the material, we cannot see that in the light of the law of Karma, we have no free will at all. From a higher perspective we are simply undergoing the reactions of our earlier actions, repaying debts that have to be repaid. Who are we or rather who we think we are, is shaped by debits and credits incurred in early lives. We would do well to reflect on how many key aspects there are in our life over which we have had no control. Our parents, when and where we were born, our particular genetic patterning and our early education-all are a part of the conditioning that has made us what we today. When so much of what we are nothing that has happened beyond our control; is it not foolish to think that we are free?

Death is certain of that (body) which is born; rebirth is certain of that (body) which is dead. Just as a man takes off worn out clothes and puts on new ones, so the embodied (soul) cuts off worn out bodies and enters into new ones. We are reborn in a house which is conducive to our character (qualities). The man of an ignorant nature, devoid of faith and possessed of doubt is destined to the wheel of birth and death. But he who has dedicated all his actions to God in the spirit of yoga of Action, action does not bind him. He is liberated. When the Yogi realizes that all this is Lord Vasudeva (Sri Krishna-God) he is liberate. He is not born.

Moksha (Liberation) When we serve the poor and sick, we really serve God who resides in their hearts. God alone enjoys all our offerings to Gods or God. Therefore, truly speaking God is enjoyer of all austerities, rituals and other sacrifice or services. We humans think that the poor receive service, forgetting the reality that service to the poor, is service for God. When realize this truth, we attain peace. Those having restrained all the scenes, are even minded in all condition (tranquil), engaged in the welfare of all beings, they also come me. He is from whom all beings emanate, and by whom all this is pervaded, by worshipping Him through performance of his own duty, man attains perfection. He attains God's Abode from where he returns not. He is liberated.

If man regards his things that is God as his own and the extraneous thing that is body- world as not his own, then he becomes at once liberated, there is not an iota of doubt about it. In the Gita where there are mentioned the traits of a "gun-atita", great man that is of one who has transcended the three folds of nature, there he is spoken of as the one who is stationed in his own being and is equanimous in moments of sorrow and happiness. Such a man is a liberated soul. To expect Anything from outside are a big cowardice and a huge frailty of nature. This timidity of feebleness is a concoction, a made up thing; it is inherent in the being where is the weakness or difficulty in regarding one's thing as one's own, in being oneself and in regarding extraneous things as not one's own. What other people will speak of me or think of me is a fear which can cause great loss and meaninglessness in life. One should shed this fear away be courageous and bold. Will others not talk ill of us if we go on fearing about how others hold us in their view? Whether we fear or not, they will talk the way they like. Not subjecting us to the spell of fear in the view of other one's opinion, it is always gainful to stick fast to our rightest convictions and to go along the path of truth and goodness without any sense of fear. What happens just after so-called death (death of the gross body)? A person suddenly finds himself in an absolutely new environment just after his death. It is like an individual suddenly reaching a new city. He does not know its language. People are new to him. Strange dresses, strange food, different weather conditions.... How will he react to such a situation? The beginning of such a new life after so-called death is termed as the "gray period"- a period during which he prepares for his new life. Just after so-called death, angels do not appear to take you to the other world. Nor are you produced in the court of Heaven in front of God for judgements. These are all figments of imagination made popular by folklore. You will be your own judge and the level of your consciousness will decide your future state and the arrangements for you. The journey of the subtle body begins after the demise of the gross body. There is a small period of transition before the journey of the subtle body commences, which is called as the "gray period'. During this gray period the subtle body recalls its entire physical life. Whatever has happened since childhood to the day of so-called death appears in front of him. He can see at once go what has happened in his life, and what has not happened in his life?

SOW GOOD SEEDS IN THE FIELD OF YOUR LIFE What is the best that you are capable of giving to the World? I have a simple answer to that question; the best that I can give to the World are good thoughts, good words, and good actions. When I offer the best that I can to this World, the best will come back to me Therefore, my sixth practical suggestion is: sow good seeds in the field of your life The law of the seed is also the profound law of karma, which is unique to Hindu philosophy. What is the law of the seed? Ask any farmer, ask any peasant, ask the simple village folk who live by the land -and they will tell you the law of seed: as you sow, so shall you reap. 'As you sow, so shall you reap' Each one of us has been given a plot -the field of our life. In this field of life, we are sowing seeds every day. Every thought I think, every word I utter, every deed I perform, every emotion that I arouse within my heart, every feeling, every fancy, every wish are the seeds I'm sowing in this field of life The law of Karma simply stated is the law of cause and effect. It is a scientific law. It is a universal law. It is built up of these two aspects - as you sow, so shall you reap -as you think, so you become. You cannot sow thorns and reap apples.

According to Roger Von Oech who said "Most people think of success and failure as opposites, but when they are actually products of the same process." But when you come to think of it, it is failures that give meaning to success. Wherever you have success, there is bound to be failure. The two go together. It is failure that draws out the best that within us. It is failure that unfolds, unlocks our hidden powers. In the measure in which we face failures in the right spirit, in that measure that the tremendous power that lies locked up within us is unfolded. Someone asked Dada J.P.Vaswani that "why do we have failures at all?" "Why did God not create a World in which there was only success?" What a wonderful World it would be " It is only when a person bears failures with faith and courage that he gives the best proof of character that anyone can give. Failure has a place in life. It is very necessary that even as success is not permanent, failure is not permanent. Do not forget that failures are not final. You fail only when you accept failure as final. Always think of failures as stepping-stones to success, not stopping stones to success. There was a young man who had become a chain smoker at the age of 20. When he turned 21, he made a firm resolve to give up smoking for good.

Cultivate Good Thoughts And Positive Emotions One way is to be vigilant in all that we think and say and do, is to be aware that God is omnipresent and omniscient, and is aware of all that we do. I was reminded by someone a little boy's story who was visiting his grand-mother. There was a large picture of Sri Vishnu on the wall of her living room. Underneath the picture was the caption; God is watching you. The little boy became strategy with strangely quiet and subdued on seeing the picture. Nothing his mood, his grand-mother asked him what the matter was. "I suppose I must be good and behave myself here," replied the little boy. "If God is watching me, he is sure to punishment if I'm naughty." "Not at all "Laughed the grand-mother. "God is watching you all the time because he loves you so much that he can't his eyes off from you " this is the spirit with which we must cultivate good thoughts and positive emotions. Internal portion of Myself has become a living self in the world of life. We are born of flesh of God. We share 99.99 percent of the same genetic (DNA) code with all other people. Let us awaken our True Identity. Let us shelter under the Universal Umbrella of Oneness, discarding our colour, caste, creed and country. We praise the flowers and fruit of the tree but we forget the root that sustains the flowers and the fruit. Let us remember our Root-father / Mother daily; pray to Him for forgiveness, Grace and Mercy. Then, Unity, Peace Harmony and Happiness will prevail in our heart. Creation Of The Universe God is Supreme Being who created everything from His Own expansion. Even the laws of the Nature are the Will of God. You know that all beings have evolved from lower Nature- earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect ego, and the higher Nature-soul, is the life principle by which the universe is upheld. There is nothing what so ever higher than me; all this strung on Me, as clusters of gems on a string. God is Banyan tree but Banyan tree is not God. God is you (soul) but you (body) are not God. God is your Guru but you guru is not God for he has no power to create anything. Even your Guru was created by Him and he was born and he will decay and die. God is eternal; He is not born and He does not die. Universal Oneness Universe is like an inverted tree- God is the Root, creation is the branches. The branches will have no existence without the Root.

Many of us like to make plans. We make plans for the future and set goals we want to achieve at certain times of our life, such as getting a degree, getting that first pay cheque or getting married. Some of us may have our year planned out by January every year. Only after making bookings, schedules and timetables do we feel comfortable that everything is organized in our lives. Plans are important because they help us define what we need to accomplish. They become the mental to-do list of our life. And when everything goes smoothly, according to plan, we feel a sense of relief and accomplishment. Numerous books on business and strategy emphasize the importance of an 'action plan -- steps we need to take to reach that all important goal. Numerous motivational talks also highlight the need foraplan as a key ingredient to success. But things don't always go according to plan. Life throws us many curveballs. Sometimes there is an unexpected pleasant surprise, like a promotion at work or an award from our peers. Or the best surprise --when the Master comes to visit our centre and all our well-laid plans for the day are thrown out the window. Other times it may not be such a positive surprise. It may be an unfore-seen illness, or a sudden tragedy. When this happens, we can be thrown completely off track and lose our sense of balance.

Sow Sweet Fruits But Not Bitter Fruits As long as our senses dominate our thinking, we remain ignorant of the real order of the creation. Until we are in conscious contact with the word, we are limited by our physical perspective and our understanding remains distorted. As lord Jesus said: - Oye ye of little faith Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness And all these entire thing shall be added unto you Lacking spiritual knowledge, we identify our selves the physical and give priority to tangible, material goals. If we had real faith in what we profess- that our reality is eternal and that in this life, we simply are going through destiny- we would surrender ourselves to the Divine Will. But our faith is half backed, our knowledge, fractional, because we are not yet in touch with who we are. In the Buddhist scriptures it says: - The fool is tormented, thinking, "These sons belong to me." "This wealth belongs to me."

Act of offering of slaughtered animals or human beings was not enjoined by the scriptures. The men, who practice terrific austerities not enjoined by the scriptures, are given to hypocrisy and egoism impelled by the force of desire and attachment. Senseless, torturing the body and Me also, who dwells in the body, know these people to be of demoniac resolve. God dis-approves torture of the body and Gita Gyan reveals Oneness of all the beings that makes all the beings sacred. Can we really believe that the sacrifice of an animal or a person will be accepted by God as an offering? Greatest sacrifice performed by God is a creation of the universe; rendering selfless service is a form of sacrifice.

A Moment of Calm is an experience, which each one of us as a human being should have at least once every day. Our minds are agitated, our minds are disturbed, our minds should be filled with Peace- the peace that passes, surpasses, understanding. The minds of many of us are filled with peace, grudges, resentment and thoughts of revenge. They are filled with negative thoughts. Let us, uncluttered our minds by forgiving everyone who has in any way wronged us. We need to understand that whatever is happening to us is according to the law of Karma. It is likely that in the past, near future or remote. I have done something to somebody. Whatever I have done, must return to me; otherwise the can be no balance. Action must produce reaction. This is a scientific law. It is a universal law. Action and reaction are equal and opposite of each other. Therefore we must learn to forgive. Just experience this Moment of Calm by forgiving all wrongs that have been done to you. The man with an unforgiving spirit harms himself. His Heart is filled with resentment, which will gradually destroy him.

There is only one God whereas he has many names. God said, "I am father; mother; supporter; grandfather; Holy one to be my own, OM; three Vedas; Supreme Goal, Lord, witness, Abode, Refuge, friend, Origin, Dissolution; foundation; Treasure house; Imperishable seed. And whatever is the seed of all beings, that also am I; there is no being, whether animate or inanimate that can exist without Me. Without and within all beings. Unknowable, and near and far away is That. Have faith that we are never alone, the fear and anxiety will disappear and true happiness will prevail in our heart. Trust in God will cure all our ills.
