This book of verses is TC Newell's homage to his Parents and the home in which they raised him, the nostalgia which has become his favorite drug, as well as Newell's celebration of eight and a half years in Worcester, MA where, through all ups and downs, he still managed to have done his best writing. This is his seventh self-published project with an eighth on its way shortly, also a book of verses. Yet, with everything he writes, he visualizes this poetry being performed and read onstage. "It's yet another Readers Theater script," says Newell. "And if poetry isn't 'in, ' it could be." Sit back, relax. Verses of October is designed to be an easy, quick read.
On my Wall-Of-Frames in the House-Boat Studio, is a picture of a house in which I lived back when I was in Hartford, CT back in 1987. I love the simple architecture of this house, I adored that observation deck above the enclosed patio out front. This could be my ideal House-Boat Studio, but someone out there could yell, That doesn't look like a House-Boat to me Well, in my mind, in my fantasy and dream, this is my House-Boat Studio. I managed to blow the taking of this photo when I first attempted to capture the image back on 04AUG16. I don't remember what happened--maybe I slipped off the curb from the sidewalk across the street--who knows? The Dutch-angle look has a certain appeal, doesn't it? I've taken on Una Lovingston and Gregory Gregarious for my new personas, and this year in the House-Boat Studio, you shall be in our Visions&Videos workshops. We're going with all our character studies & all of our new Supra-Heroes on campus on this Voyage with us. You have lined up out on the House-Boat Deck, ready to audition for us. The Hovering Herons hate, and hate is their her legacy. Much of my poetry comes straight from Mother and Dad; and, because of them, I've written some beautiful poetry over the years. I'm not an orphan yet But I could say that both my parents are always with me. I've known this since 16AUG10 when Dad passed away. Jackie Gleason is my favorite comedian. He always reminded me of my Dad. He could make me laugh and he could make me cry. He could say so much without making a sound. As a writer, my expectations ae always on that fine line between warm&low as to how people could respond to my self-published works. I figure some could love it, some could hate it, and anybody else won't ever see it anyway, or they'll simply turn and walk away. As a writer, I could write characters who could be sensitive. Dramatic, even over-dramatic, while I could be care-free, casual, and indifferent about them. I couldn't possibly speak for each and every character I create. I could be writing to get arrested for causing a theatrical disturbance. I could be willing to be accused of theatrical exploitation. I could be unusual and unconventional. I'm so far-out there, yet I could be well-grounded quite honestly. I could be disjointed when I'm really not. I could do some underground stuff in a particular community that isn't listed on the World Wide Web. I could be racy, risqu , and wild when I'm not. For now, I'm going to evolve into the ever-evolving Wall-Of-Frames. So, here you go. You get the last piece of cake because the last piece of cake always tastes the best. You don't need to get into my thing as long as you've got your own thing going. I'm going to give you the last piece because it always tastes the best.
This is a book of essays, written with the intention, as always, to be "performed." This is the final say about a lot of ideas I've kicked around for the past decade here in Worcester, MA. I'm so happy and grateful for dwelling here, because I've gotten a lot of ideas for characters and stories. But mostly, this is about my final projects completed at my dwelling on Highland Street during the past 10 years.

TC Newell wrote this, his last Supra-Hero book, during the month of November, 2017. This is his final say on all of his Supra-Hero stories, which began ten years ago. He's taken many incredible journeys with the flesh, muscle, and blood characters he's created over the past decade. In 2011, he introduced Sporaticus and its torn streets, where we met the Radical Pirate and G-Ray, mentor and prot g , up against Mr. Incognito and Tobias and their crew of Positive Energy Zappers. Then he and his characters evolved onto the beaches of Ascencia, the MagicLand he created in his House-Boat Studio, sailing along smooth and rough waters back in 2013. He and his characters developed numerous Performers Theater scripts and even evolved into poetic justice for Generation 26.
