Thomas was born in London's East End. Despite the Blitz and wartime disruptions to his childhood education, he followed his dream to become an architect. In his father's cockney vernacular, he would say 'he boxed above his weight'. Aged 28, he set up on his own. After 20 years, when The Thomas Saunders Partnership (TTSP) became an international practice, he knew it was time to move on. He explored both the outer world of the Amazon, the Arctic and the Atlantic and the inner metaphysical worlds of meditation, the Tarot, dowsing, sacred geometry and healing work. Aged 60, he lost a fortune and found Janet, the love of his life. 'Getting A Life' is about his quest to 'become that which we already are'.

Architecture - the status of its institutions, the relevance of the teaching curricula and the fragmentation of the role of architects in practice - reflects the prevailing ethos of our society and culture. Whatever the changing, existential cycles of order and chaos, the core of the fundamental principles of design constantly connects the ancient polymath 'architects' with our twenty-first-century practitioners to create spiritually uplifting, healthy, sustainable environments that enhance our wellbeing and welfare. These abiding principles are based on the world's natural phenomena and human nature. The full spectrum of our innate tendencies, patterns of behaviour and the essential elements of leadership, management and organisation, are encoded in the perennial myths and authentic folk wisdom stories.

Flint is proud of his flame. He can toast the best marshmallows But one morning, his fire disappears. How can he be a dragon without it? Determined to find answers, Flint sets off on an adventure. Along the way, he meets a squirrel with a crooked leg and a mole afraid of the dark. Together, they discover that being different doesn't mean being less. Through teamwork, bravery, and kindness, Flint learns that true strength isn't about fire-it's about heart. Perfect for ages 4-7, Flint the Fireless Dragon is a gentle, uplifting picture book that reminds children that we don't need to be like everyone else to shine.
