Kirjahaku

Fascinated by short poetry forms, and inspired by the beauty of nature around me, this volume is dedicated to both. Though nature is the main theme, other various subjects are also observed. Haiku, Senryu, Tanka, and other forms, make this volume easy to read. Soli Deo Gloria!

Ever fascinated by the art of Sonnets, I set out to pursue this form of writing, in an attempt to revive the art and to challenge myself. Two forms I have delved into: Petrarchan and Shakespearean. After reading many of William Shakespeare's Sonnets, I found my work influenced by the quaint old fashioned manner of speaking. My aim is not to show off, but reflect that of God upon the lines I write. Here are my Sonnets. To God be all praise!
