The lotus flower grows in deep mud, far away from the sun. However once it reaches light it becomes one of the most beautiful flowers on earth. Traumatic circumstances have made me want to give up on life. Being alone in the dark for so long - I questioned: Did I truly have to go through so much pain the first 14 years of my life? In addition to that, live the next two decades trying to get over the pain?In my life there have been many fights, a ton of mental break downs, overwhelming emotional trauma, fits of rage and encounters with child sexual abuse. It couldn't possibly get any worse - could it? There has to be a better way. But, how do I overcome trauma, pain, anger and humiliation? For real, who was going to be there for me as I suffered through the pain of life? My sun and my answer came in the form of Jesus. Our lives are precious to God. No matter the issues that have confronted us - we are able to overcome all of them through the love of Jesus. A beautiful flower can emerge from mud; ashes can be turned to beauty; weakness turned to strength, and life can be enjoyed to the fullest. Overcoming the harshness of life comes from learning that you are loved. Because of the love that Jesus has for you, you can learn to love yourself. Through my journey to self love you'll be able to see that I was able to learn the most important lesson in life. Jesus loves me It's so simple, and yet it's so complex. He loves me simply because I exist, and that is why He also loves you - because you exist.

The Body of Christ is comprised of people that believe God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, and was raised from the dead. Once you accept Jesus as Lord and savior God has designed a blueprint for His body of believer's to behave. Being a part of God's family, He wants us to be on one accord, and to operate as a family unit. Imagine the millions of people that have accepted Christ as Lord - collectively each member of God's body is a cell with a distinct purpose. Of course the head of this body is the Lord Jesus Christ, and He is leading this massive amount of people to follow the will of God, our Father. How does the family of God operate in the earth? Are we all one-man on one-accord? Can we realize the potential of the Lord Jesus to become a church without spot or wrinkle? In this book, we'll examine how faith, hope, and love are supposed to be at the forefront of the Christian experience. Also, we will explore how tale bearing, a lack of prayer and false truths keep the body disjointed and non-unified. One of God's greatest desire is for His children is found in Ephesians 4:13, "...Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: " Without question we can all get to this place by walking in love with one another if we understand the will of God.
