My art career spans five decades, and builds on my lifelong interest inmeditation, philosophy, and feminism as conduits of freedom and peace. This book provides a survey of my work between the 1990s to the 2000s, created in both Melbourne and Perth. It is the second of a series of booksthat documents the progression of my art practice. These images of paintings show that I have continued to work towards anon-representational practice. They show an interest in geometric shapesand a continuance of: textural colour fields, minimalist expression andcomposition, and group installations. These are indicative of my increasinginterest in the materiality of space, both inside and outside of the works. My overarching experience is that space is never empty, both within eachartwork and in the surrounding environment. I aim to manifest works that aresupportive of nuance and mindful attentiveness, and that create a moment ofcounterpoint to the ubiquitous, anxious, complexity of information overload.

My art career spans five decades and builds on my lifelong interest in meditation, philosophy, and feminism as conduits of freedom and peace. This book provides a survey of the work I created in the lead-up to, and during, my practice-led Ph.D., from 2010 to 2013. It is the fourth of a series of books that documents the progression of my art practice. These images include paintings, light boxes, sculptures, photography, videos, and installations. The common threads of interest are still: minimalist expression, textural colour fields, installations as well as objects, and space, both inside and outside of the work. Space is never empty, both in the artwork and its surrounding environment. I aim to manifest works that are supportive of nuance and mindful attentiveness, and that creates a moment of counterpoint to the ubiquitous, anxious, complexity of information overload.

My art career spans five decades, and builds on my lifelong interest in meditation, philosophy, and feminism as conduits of freedom and peace. This book provides a survey of the art work I created in the years following my practice-led PhD, from 2014 to 2019. It is the fifth of a series of books that has documented the progression of my art practice. These images exemplify my non-representational practice that has really become established as being very much about textured colour fields, and space. The images of work range from painting to sculpture, light works, photography, video, and installations. I am keenly interested in the materiality of space, both inside and outside of the work. My overarching experience is that space is never empty, both in art work and in our surrounding environment. I aim to manifest works that are supportive of nuance and mindful attentiveness, and that create a moment of counterpoint to the ubiquitous, anxious, complexity of information overload.
