We cannot walk with confidence if we cannot see.The Word is the light to the path which we need to follow.Without reading the Word for ourselves, we are walking in darkness.We all need to have a personal relationship with God.So we can know our purpose and live our lives accordingly.The church is for fellowship and worship, but that is not enough to only go to church.We will live the church's way and not necessarily God's way.God wants us to read His Word personally to develop a relationship with Him and gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.We cannot experience the goodness of Jesus and enjoy the joy of our salvation if we do not know the Word and live by it.It's the weapon we use against the enemy to defend ourselves when being attacked.The Word of God has everything we could ever hope for to help us in life.It satisfies every need we could ever have.Jesus took care of everything before He left.So we are well-equipped to live our purpose.It took me a while to get it, but I thank God it is never too late for Him to help us as he never gives up on us. I am now living in the light of His Word.It is such a joy to have a personal relationship with Jesus, my Savior and King.
