This fearless memoir is a collection of war stories that offer a glimpse into the life of RET SFC Vicki Davis. She fought for nearly 22 years-on the battlefield and off it. These battles included the troubles of failed family care plans, failed marriages, financial hardships, domestic violence as well as the inner conflict caused by a sexist system while she fought for her life in Iraq.SFC Davis could not have imagined how signing her life away at 18 would impact her three children in the future.
