Mister Bon Mot and the Meaning of Wife
Bon Mot comes out of the woods to a trying pandemic that has hit the world. He is a born womanizer and lures three respective women to marry him and run for office. What office? The biggest of all. The only problem is he's first gentleman meaning his wives are president. As an alcoholic, it is a bit much. As a writer, he is at a loss for words.

Scientists are working hard on understanding this new contagion, while Al has already figured it out. It's nothing more than an Act of God, told on the Stage of Life, for the dissemination of the refined and the blind, both to savor willy nilly in their contemptuous ways. Pan is a horrific monster capable of unhinging the very doorway of civilization. He has man by the balls if not holding his own. No one escapes.
The First Step, Hi’ Steppin’
This photo reveals an author in deep denial of which a whole book could be written. Lucas asks how definitive does a man have to be to tell a story of reasonable conjecture from the viewpoint of a victim? He finds himself in eerily similar circumstances that his protagonist found himself to be in: Tampa, the hood, 9/11, the VA, Alcohol Anonymous. Whatever can be said, consider it said.
The Third Step, a Smoking Gun and Coughing Nails, a Real Read Herring
Paul Undres, anti-hero and persistent protagonist, once again exposes the world's ills. In his first book of the Step Series, he is a crackhead who undoes the Veterans Administration. In his second book he is a sexual deviant who loses his welfare check to an alluring underage girl. In this book he simply smokes himself to death after a few unusual operations. Take a deep breath while he is talked about by the gods above and below and during fierce contention with the godless around him. It is a fight to the finish. Everyone loses.

It is a story of a young man, Paul Undres who on the day of 9/11 seeks shelter from unabated crack usage at the Tampa VA. He is delusional and rather than listen he reads from his personal journal his concerns to the admitting psychiatrist and later to others that cross his path. From the Tampa VA he is transferred to a temporary housing facility, SafePlace, where he awaits an opening into a rehab center called Avon Park. At SafePlace he experiences a gun suicide by his roommate who has read too much of Paul's journal for his own good. In between the VA and SafePlace, he manages to go home before Avon Park and use crack one more time to get his monies worth. In the end, he is kicked out of Avon Park because he bums too many cigarettes and doesn't dig the program, but not before he makes a commitment to try recovery. The book ends with a rather cavalier approach to AA that works. The book closes with the blacks apologizing for all the bad dope they gave him and offer him one of their best girls as a token to which music is played as they HI' Step in true AA fashion.

Pan, the Greek god of sorts, is uncorked by Chinese chemists and unleashed upon the world as a viral agent. He sickens everyone. After a series of peregrinations, like the Rank think tank, the monks in Tibet, the Llamas in Peru, the Morman Church in Utah, etc he requests from Zeus to be made human. His wish is granted and he comes back as John Doe, the everyman. Joe blows the scene and is reborn to Jeffrey Epstein II, whose father is known for his pedophilia. It should be noted that Pan was a satyr and disgusted with his inherent bestiality in the first place. From Jeffrey, we go to Joe College, the true everyman, whose name changes to Joseph and begets Jesus, who finally has broken the DNA change of alcoholism and hedonism from the previous reincarnations. The book ends with not a cloud in the sky.

Paul Undes, protagonist, starts out in the lobby of the Tampa VA, looking for shelter on the day of 9/11 from unabated crack usage. Unable to deal with reality on a person-to-person basis, he reads from his journal to anyone who will listen. It is a crying out. From the VA he is transported to Safe Place, a transitional housing facility, but not before he goes home to try crack one last time so as to get his monies worth. At Safe Place, his roommate kills himself from the stark truth of Paul's journal. Then he goes to Avon Park, renown rehab center, where he is kicked out for unabashed cigarette bumming. It doesn't stop there. Between the VA, Safe Place and Avon Park, he has acquired a glimmer of hope and a tentative acceptance of AA. He returns home, attending AA religiously although not accepting the program as the final word. In fact, he hates the word 'program.' Its like going to the opera. The book ends with a gratuitous gift of a piece of ass from the blacks who have so mistreated him. The music in the background is a combination of Louis Armstrong and Glenn Miller as the latch on his bedroom door reads in true AA fashion, 'Do Not Disturb, He's Hi' Steppin'.

Paul starts out by showing a fat, aggressive black woman the door, someone who was supposedly a gift or token, as it were, for all the injustice inflicted upon him by dealers during his crack days like, for example the ruination of his car, bad dope proffered, not to mention a general roughing of his fragile white self. Actually, the book starts with a foreshadowing as Paul pleas to society to look for him in the newsstands as he's at the end of his rope. The following is a sequence of desperate bouts with AA, the family and the job market. It deals with expressions such as 'economy of thought', 'a loving human being', and 'birthday wish', 'role playing'. and 'reeducation camp'. Supposedly, they mean something. His one friend, Brandy, provides him some intellectual material which he rephrases. Such as divestiture and out of body experience. He winds up hanging himself unsuccessfully. But he does make one fatal mistake. He consorts with an underage person of color, a cashier at Winn Dixie, who has his number, gets sued by her, and winds up behind bars, where we find him in the end free at last.
