This is a book that will prayerfully challenge your mindset and approach to ministry as a woman in ministry pursuing the mandate of GOD upon her life. This book will encourage you through your valleys and mountaintops on this journey; but always remember that through GOD all things are possible if you have the faith to believe in HIM and in yourself without doubting.YOUR PAST DOESN'T DEFINE YOUR FUTURE BECAUSE YOUR PAIN BURST POWER 1 Corinthians 12:31
Pentecost is given by GOD to teach us the opposite of what "mainstream Christianity" believes. Generally, they believe that this is the only day of salvation for all mankind. But, in reality, GOD has a far more just plan in mind. Pentecost teaches us that we are only the first fruits; the first to receive salvation through Christ. It teaches us that all others are not yet called. And it also teaches us that, as Jesus said; "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him."Pentecost helps explain the different times when salvation will be offered to different segments of humanity. Let us begin by looking at the basic doctrinal background for the day of Pentecost (before we get into the actual effects of what the Holy Spirit does in our lives).GOD designed His annual holy days to be laid out according to the seasons in the area of Jerusalem. And GOD uses two harvests of the region to symbolize His two separate harvests of all human lives. The Feast of Weeks celebrated the end of the grain harvest. The earlier, much smaller harvest begins with Pentecost; and the latter, much larger harvest begins with the Feast of Tabernacles and ends with the Last Great Day. The earlier harvest is of great importance to us because it is being planted right now, and it involves us directly at this time. So, GOD has been in the process of planting good seed for that earlier harvest that we are a part of. Since He began His church in A.D. 31, He has called tens of thousands of people; but not all have worked to make their calling and election sure. In about A.D. 68, just before his death, Peter had seen this condition in the church for 37 years, and so he felt compelled to encourage the church to fruitfully grow in the faith and to be even more diligent than they had been before that time. In II Peter 1:5-11, we will read some very familiar scriptures, but they are very important as well: II Peter 1:5-7; "But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, to brotherly kindness love."
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1 Timothy 6:3-10
From the time of Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden to the present, man has attempted to resolve the question of his relationship with God. The ATHEIST simply denies the existence of God. To him, man is merely another animal, with superior intellect; living for a time, enduring the harsh fate of life, and then dying a complete and final death. To the atheist nothing is eternal; all things are temporal, passing with time. To him, God speaks: Psalms 53:1; "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none that does good." The AGNOSTIC piously declares that it is not possible for man to ascertain the existence of God, therefore, no relationship with Him may be established; but this "I won't bother God if He won't bother me" philosophy leaves the human mind vulnerable to such damnable heresies as the EVOLUTION HYPOTHESIS, REINCARNATION, and the rejection of eternal truths, ie: Heaven and Hell, Sin and Judgment. God warns: "For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened." (Romans 1:20-21)The word religion describes man's efforts to bring himself back into a right relationship with God. Religious man acknowledges God, by different names, and with different attributes. Systems of worship and self-improvement follow, all seeking to gain God's favor. God, however, has not left the destiny of the soul to man's devices. WHAT IS SALVATION is a study of GOD's Plan, the Gospel of Jesus Christ; in His death, burial, and resurrection. Christ does for man what he doesn't deserve and can't do for himself, because by GRACE through FAITH, He establishes man righteous before God: 1 Peter 3:18; "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit."
LEADERSHIP MATRIX"The ingredients that produce leadership effectiveness aren't secrets because when you do all the things necessary to lead people you will see results. When you ignore some ingredients, you may be limited in your results, and feel like all the good things you do don't matter, because it takes all the ingredients to make a cake taste good."
There's a great war being waged in the world today; and it's not a conflict between nations, tribes, or government leaders. It's not a rebellion or coup; but it's an important invisible battle taking place in the spirit world. The Bible states that GOD's people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). One of the main areas in which Believers are being defeated due to lack of knowledge is in spiritual warfare. The early Church viewed their spiritual experience in terms of warfare, and military terminology is used throughout the New Testament. Protection was seen in the Armor of GOD, and the Word of GOD was compared to a sword. Satan's attacks were called fiery darts; and faith was the "good fight" and Believers were told to "war a good warfare." The early Church knew they were engaged in an intense spiritual struggle; and the same spiritual battle continues today, but instead of fighting the enemy, Believers are often building great church buildings, producing musical dramas, holding fellowship meetings, and fighting one another while this great spiritual battle wages around them. Satan has even intensified his attacks against a church that has withdrawn from the front lines of battle; and in these perilous and evil days are upon us; it's even more important for Believers to understand spiritual warfare than in the early days of church history. The Apostle Paul warned: 2 Timothy 3:1; "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come." In order to be properly prepared for these perilous times, renewed emphasis must be placed on the strategies of spiritual warfare; because the Christian life is war, and the sooner we recognize and prepare for it; the sooner we will experience victory. Luke 14:31 says; "What king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?" No king ever entered into a battle without a careful examination of his resources and development of battle strategies; but in essence, that's what we are doing in this training manual. We are making a careful evaluation of the strategy, weapons, and power available to us to win the war against our enemy, Satan. In the military world, "strategy" is the science of forming and carrying out military operations; and it is the method or plan which leads to the goal of victory.
