This course material is aimed at engineering students in textile engineering. It focuses on fundamental concepts relating to preparation for weaving and weaving. Very educational, it is based on a clear and concise text, illustrated with numerous educational diagrams. The theoretical bases are presented in a logical and progressive manner throughout the chapters. For educational purposes, this manual first begins with weaving technology and the fundamental notions of fabrics and weaves, in the first and second chapters respectively.
