This collection focuses on David Lewis-Williams and the extent of his personal impact on the field of rock art research. It is largely through his work that San rock art has come to be understood so well, as a complex symbolic and metaphoric representation of San religious beliefs and practices. The purpose of this volume is to demonstrate the depth and wide geographical impact of Lewis-Williams' contribution, with particular emphasis on the use of theory and methodology drawn from ethnography that he has used with inspirational effect in understanding the meaning and context of rock art in various parts of the world. Seeing and Knowing explores how best archaeologists study rock art when there exist ethnographic or ethno - historic bases of insight, and how they study rock art when there do not appear to exist ethnographic or ethnohistoric bases of insight - in short, how to understand and learn from rock art with and without ethnography. Liberating Faith remains an effective introduction to the theology and spirituality of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. After a brief biographical portrait of Bonhoeffer's adult life, Kelly offers a thematic overview of Bonhoeffer's Christological theology with an emphasis on the sociality of Christ. Other chapters focus on the ""liberation of faith,"" which is essentially Bonhoeffer's theology of revelation that emerged from his own existential crisis regarding his own faith and an examination of his theology of the Church. While Kelly draws heavily on Bonhoeffer's later writings like The Cost of Discipleship, Ethics, and especially Letters and Papers from Prison, he also uses key texts spanning the entirety of Bonhoeffer's career to develop the critical ideas at the heart of Bonhoeffer's theology. Therefore, Liberating Faith does very well to set the stage for Bonhoeffer's overall theology.

Some nights I hear my father's long romance with drugs echoed in the skeletal choir of crickets. Geffrey Davis holds an MFA and a PhD from Penn State University. A Cave Canem fellow, Davis is the recipient of the 2013 Dogwood First Prize in Poetry, the 2012 Wabash Prize for Poetry, the 2012 Leonard Steinberg Memorial/Academy of American Poets Prize, and the 2013 A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. He currently teaches at the University of Arkansas.
