Should we seek questions instead of answers? Three very different stories show where unanswered questions can lead. Can a business that just asks questions make millions? Can random questions change a man? Can one photograph evoke the right questions? These three un-churchly stories ask these questions and more. What do a recession, a hurricane, and a picture have in common? Some people search for the right question, or never ask questions, or raise many questions. All lead to surprising outcomes. But maybe not answers. Not all questions have answers, but questions lead the people in these three very different adventures to more questions.

The counsellor who enables your dreams to become reality - at a price; the oh-so-persuasive freelance interrogator whose sub-legal techniques ensure dramatic results; an unsung writer, standing in at a gala when the big name doesn't show; the on-call priest who specializes in clerical emergencies; a painter and her assistant who each tell a different truth about their relationship; and a refugee whose life is transformed by a pair of boots. What could possibly connect these unique characters and their stories? Why, the obscure, some would say camouflaged, building in which they work.Six stories told with perceptive wit and humour, Inquire Within makes the unlikely appear possible, the imagined become reality.

Alec John Dawson (1872 - 3 February 1951), generally known as A J. Dawson (pseudonyms Major Dawson, Howard Kerr, Nicholas Freydon) was an English author, traveler and novelist. During World War I he attained the rank of Major, and was awarded the MBE and Croix de Guerre in recognition of his work as a military propagandist. Dawson published over thirty books, the one best remembered today probably being the animal adventure story Finn the Wolfhound (1908). He used the pen-name Howard Kerr for his first published novel, Leeway (1896). Further publications as A J. Dawson soon followed: two collections of short stories (Mere Sentiment and In the Bight of Benin) and two novels (God's Foundling and Middle Greyness) in 1897 alone.
