Here is a selection of my poems I have written through many tough times in my life. Each one of the poems tells of a different story to a different part of my life, A different challenge, A different outlook to each situation I have been through.

American historians have long been fascinated by the "peopling" of North America in the seventeenth century. Who were the immigrants, and how and why did they make their way across the ocean? Most of the attention, however, has been devoted to British immigrants who came as free people or as indentured servants (primarily to New England and the Chesapeake) and to Africans who were forced to come as slaves. Trade in Strangers focuses on the eighteenth century, when new immigrants began to flood the colonies at an unprecedented rate. Most of these immigrants were German and Irish, and they were coming primarily to the middle colonies via an increasingly sophisticated form of transport.Wokeck shows how first the German system of immigration, and then the Irish system, evolved from earlier, haphazard forms into modern mass transoceanic migration. At the center of this development were merchants on both sides of the Atlantic who organized a business that enabled them to make profitable use of underutilized cargo space on ships bound from Europe to the British North American colonies. This trade offered German and Irish immigrants transatlantic passage on terms that allowed even people of little and modest means to pursue opportunities that beckoned in the New World.Trade in Strangers fills an important gap in our knowledge of America's immigration history. Mer än vart tionde barn i Sverige har ett annat modersmål än svenska. Hur bedömer man två- eller flerspråkiga elevers kunskap och kompetens? I Tankarna springer före presenterar författarna en heltäckande bedömningsmall som kan användas för att beskriva språkbehärskningen hos andra andraspråksinlärare - såväl barn som vuxna. Aktuell och teoretisk kunskap om andraspråksinlärning beskrivs utförligt. Här poängteras vikten av en enhetlig syn på språkutveckling från förskolan till gymnasiet och vuxenundervisningen - språkbehärskning ska ses som en process, inte som en produkt.Med hjälp av så kallade performansanalyser kan pedagoger få en allsidig bild av elevens språkliga kompetens. Flera praktiska exempel tas upp som i detalj visar hur performansanalyser kan användas av pedagoger. Max est amoureux de Marianne, mais il y a un probl me, celle-ci est dans le coma. Le spectateur se retrouve t moin d'un monologue entre les deux personnages. Max nous raconte son quotidien, ses col res, ses r ves et son amour pour l'unique femme de sa vie. La pi ce nous plonge dans la vie de ce dr le de couple, bien au-del du coma. Cependant, la fin n'est jamais celle qu'on croit.
