The mysterious world of sensory events has always amazed us, whether as unexplainable real facts or as the plot of a novel or movie. It is known that some extraordinary experiences of the real world that have been documented since ancient times are currently happening. However, we refuse to accept them because they seem to be against what we believe, are fundamental natural laws. Post-puberty, I tried to leave behind thoughts that were enclosing my consciousness, as in a cage. Those thoughts kept me in the darkness and satisfied with the easy and dogmatic answers of the magic-religious beliefs or superstitions. Therefore, I looked for the answers in other fields, aided by science, to explain to myself the fundamental questions of our existence. My questions about the laws of the universe, life, our existence, and the astonishing relationship between the brain and consciousness have always been present in my mind, creating even more questions than I already had at the beginning. Regarding the so-called extrasensory phenomena (ESP), my college education as an engineer always steered me away from superstitions and extravagant and exotic answers. Years later, knowledge of parapsychology somehow calmed me with its answers. Nowadays, we know many events classified as "supernatural" or ESP have real explanations based on science and natural laws. However, other cases are waiting for clarification, such as, for example, the so-called miracles, the near-death experiences (NDE), and the incredible, but as-yet unprovable, parallel universe, where we will go after death if it exists. However, we must recognize that the advancement of science is disproving many fables and taboos. In this literary work, although it's a novel, I've attempted to bring up those truths that many times we refuse to accept due to the lack of an explanation, but that are also impossible to refute as real facts. Therefore, the Dunaway family characters that play in it, are a good example of this fiction.
