My reason for writing this Booklet is twofold. I was alerted that many people are lost and do not know it and would like to know for sure how to be born again. I have met so many people who think that they are saved because of their good works. They don't understand the connection between the blood of Jesus and their salvation. The other reason is that because of the strange things happening in the world today, we do not know how much time we have to become true Christians. According to Matthew 24, and 25, we see things happening that Jesus calls the beginning of sorrows. The condition of our world and understanding what the Bible tells us is a warning that we should not wait. This shows me to tell as many who want to know Jesus that Jesus loves them just like they are and not to wait. THE TIME IS NOW. DONT WAIT. Patricia A. Murray spent the early, formative years of her life being raised by her grandmother in a Christian home. It was her grandmother who taught her about the love of God and His Son, Jesus, a foundation that was further reinforced by her parents. Retired after a forty-year career as a science and biology teacher, Mrs. Murray has dedicated the rest of her life to telling as many people as possible about the love of Jesus. God has blessed Mrs. Murray and her husband Reginald to be married for 52 years. They have been blessed with 7 wonderful children, 24 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Precisely because Murray breaks Scholars of early American history will find much of interest in this rare book-length portrait of an eighteenth-century woman. Cleary tells an engaging story. The quotations from eighteenth-century letters keep us as close as possible to the perspective that Elizabeth Murray had at that time and help us to avoid superimposing a present-day view
The Firebrand and the First Lady: Portrait of a Friendship: Pauli Murray, Eleanor Roosevelt, and the Struggle for Social Justice
NATIONAL BOOK AWARD NOMINEE - The riveting history of how Pauli Murray--a brilliant writer-turned-activist--and First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt forged an enduring friendship that helped to alter the course of race and racism in America. "A definitive biography of Murray, a trailblazing legal scholar and a tremendous influence on Mrs. Roosevelt." --Essence In 1938, the twenty-eight-year-old Pauli Murray wrote a letter to the President and First Lady, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, protesting racial segregation in the South. Eleanor wrote back. So began a friendship that would last for a quarter of a century, as Pauli became a lawyer, principal strategist in the fight to protect Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and a co-founder of the National Organization of Women, and Eleanor became a diplomat and first chair of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights.

The first monograph on the works of Patricia Urquiola, whose eclectic approach to product design and architecture has established her as one of the key figures in contemporary design. A superstar in the world of design, Patricia Urquiola’s portfolio of architectural projects and product designs is as diverse as it is intensely personal—from a house for Patrizia Moroso, to the interiors of boutique hotels, to industrial design, and with products that include chairs, watches, and cutlery. Since the opening of her own design practice in Milan in 2001, Urquiola has taken on an ever-expanding number of projects, and has worked with all the great international design houses, including Moroso, De Padova, B&B Italia, Bisazza, Alessi, Driade, and Flos, to name a few. Urquiola’s distinctive works straddle the boundary between architecture and design, the product of a rigorous, interdisciplinary education. Her products and spaces have won her acclaim for combining a bold, passionate imagination with an innate practicality. Drawing inspiration from historical precedent, her designs are often characterized by their clear lines and formal simplicity, and their irrepressible sensuality. This inspiring book captures the fervid energy of Urquiola’s life and work, in an unprecedented and striking design object as innovative and intimate as her body of work.

Never has our culture been more aware of personal and global health hazards, from both within and without. While most people may feel some anxiety in this regard, some have an unbearable sense of dread that prevents them from functioning. Chronic health anxiety—heightened fears of illness, disease, and death—is a central feature of hypochondriasis, of course, but can also present as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, and other diagnoses. Treating Health Anxiety offers the professional reader not only an understanding of this condition, but also an easily implemented cognitive behavioral program for reducing fear of illness, overcoming fear of death, and getting more enjoyment from life, including: -Step-by-step coverage of the assessment process and therapy sessions -Client worksheets and self-monitoring forms -Specific guidelines for treating health anxiety in children and the elderly -Strategies for handling impasses and setbacks -Up-to-date guide to pharmacotherapy for health anxiety. As media attention to health issues increases, client fears of illness won’t go away any time soon. Treating Health Anxiety gives prescribing and non-prescribing clinicians (as well as the counselors and social workers who encounter the problem) the tools to reduce both the fears and the medical costs that so often accompany them.

Magnificent Mihirungs

Magnificent Mihirungs

Over millions of years, Australia's unique biodiversity has produced a large cabinet of curiosities. Among the weirder members of this group were the Mihirungs, members of the now extinct family Dromornithidae. Made up of several genera of flightless birds—among them one of the very largest birds that ever lived—the dromornithids ranged from 60-kilogram beasts, 1.5 meters tall, to giants twice that size, weighing nearly half a metric ton. They were, by orders of magnitude, the largest "geese" that ever lived. One species was comparable in size to the Ele-phantbird of Madagascar and the Giant Moa of New Zealand. This book is the first major study of this unique and highly diverse group. It aims to present as complete a synthesis as possible of current information about this fascinating family of birds.
