For Millennia, scholars, philosophers, and scientists have debated, if not argued, over the question of visitors from outer space: have they been visiting us? Are they here among us? Where do they come from if they're visiting? And why? Mad Machinations will bring to you Maker Millwright's input on this age-old debate with some current and some older materials for consideration. This book will cover different aspects of the question and delve into some of the more "pressing" conspiracy theories out there. And, of course, it will amuse. So bring your open mind, and we'll see where this can take us
We've reached an age in our development as a society where, thanks to our advanced mechanical, scientific, and astrophysical pursuits, the human race has walked on the moon. We've sent our probes beyond the farthest reaches of our space, and we seem to be only footsteps from Mars. We develop new cars, dazzling computer technology, and revolutionary medicines as well as food technologies and plant strains that can grow in the harshest environments, but along the way, we've lost what some might say was our soul. These advancements are shared by the wealthy with only the extras being offered to those less fortunate. Whole populations face drought and starvation. In order to move into this new age before us as one human race, we need to get back to our roots. We need to reshape our thinking and move into the future as one. No one left behind. This book is going to delve into subjects like Tribe and Community through the mind of Maker Millwright. We're going to explore his foundations, where he builds his walls, how thick, and we'll explore how there really is no roof for someone who doesn't know when to stop dreaming. For any who are open for change, the possibilities are endless Everyone is welcome. Yes, even the Anarchists and Cowboys.
8 year old Kevin is three-quarters Raffe. His mother was designed using full alien Raffelom DNA, and his father was born a hybrid, part human, part Raffe-infused. On the planetoid Euphantius where his mother was a celebrated war hero and his father led the planetoid's programming corps, that wasn't any real concern. He was kept clear of any anti-Raffe sentiment. But all that changed when the riots began. Paranoia reached critical levels with workers turning on one another and everyone turning on their Prime Minister. In the violence that ensued, Kevin was shot, and Sergeant Stil was given charge of getting him to medical. Most routes were blocked, so Sergeant Stil opted for a quick shuttle skip around the outer sphere. Then Simon stepped into their shuttle before take-off, and their trajectory went askew. Through a wormhole that took them far from Euphantius, family, friends, and anything familiar. Spitting them out just beyond the Solar System. Home to Earth where everyone, and everything, wants them dead. Adding to his daze of confusion and loss, Kevin underwent a little change during transit. He's come out of the wormhole with a 12 year old body. If the pain of such a radical growth spurt doesn't kill him, the emotional cost and a five percent survival ratio might just do the trick

The colorful, visual universe of a globe-trotting street artist who paints with purposeFor street artist Seth, walls around the world have been canvases for resilience, a space where imagination and real-life encounters become murals of expression, dialogue, and community. Children are often a part of his work, taking him—and us—through city streets on a poetic discovery of their universe, like the rabbit hole into which Lewis Carroll’s Alice plunges.Seth: On Walls is an insightful, visual exploration of a decade of his travels and the paintings he created in locations such as the working-class districts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and the war-torn Donbas region of Ukraine. Drawing inspiration from local myths, legends, and tales, and often collaborating with other artists, Seth works within the social, political, and cultural contexts of the places he visits. Through an emphasized mixture of murals and photography, Seth captures the story of a multidimensional globe that is fascinating and simultaneously under threat. Although his work consists mostly of paintings, the photography he shares not only immortalizes the ephemerality and memory of his work but also conveys the spirit of the place and the relationship between the artwork and its environment. Seth: On Walls is a delicate illustration of the beauty and shadows of the world we live in.

Canadian cartoonist Gregory Gallant (b. 1962), pen name Seth, emerged as a cartoonist in the fertile period of the 1980s, when the alternative comics market boomed. Though he was influenced by mainstream comics in his teen years and did his earliest comics work on Mister X, a mainstream-style melodrama, Seth remains one of the least mainstream-inflected figures of the alternative comics' movement. His primary influences are underground comix, newspaper strips, and classic cartooning. These interviews, including one career-spanning, definitive interview between the volume editors and the artist published here for the first time, delve into Seth's output from its earliest days to the present. Conversations offer insight into his influences, ideologies of comics and art, thematic preoccupations, and major works, from numerous perspectives--given Seth's complex and multifaceted artistic endeavours. Seth's first graphic novel, It's a Good Life, If You Don't Weaken, announced his fascination with the past and with earlier cartooning styles. Subsequent works expand on those preoccupations and themes. Clyde Fans, for example, balances present-day action against narratives set in the past. The visual style looks polished and contemplative, the narrative deliberately paced; plot seems less important than mood or characterization, as Seth deals with the inescapable grind of time and what it devours, themes which recur to varying degrees in George Sprott, Wimbledon Green, and The Great Northern Brotherhood of Canadian Cartoonists.
