VANET - Vehicular Adhoc Network, che ha come nodi comunicanti i veicoli, un cambiamento paradigmatico nel networking con veicoli in rapido movimento che pongono sfide tecniche come la variazione delle caratteristiche del canale dovuta alla velocit dinamica dei veicoli. VANET facilita la congestione del traffico, evitando le corsie ad alta densit di traffico e riducendo al minimo gli incidenti. In questo lavoro ci siamo soffermati ad analizzare il concetto di VANET utilizzando uno strumento software, incoraggiando il lettore a scegliere qualsiasi strumento in base alle proprie esigenze. Abbiamo confrontato le VANET come un tipo specifico di MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network). L'approccio blockchain viene utilizzato anche per le VANET. VANET il predecessore della tecnologia V2X del 5G.

This book will also help readers understand how to use machine learning to address the security and communication challenges in VANETs. Vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs) support vehicle-to-vehicle communications and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications to improve the transmission security, help build unmanned-driving, and support booming applications of onboard units (OBUs). The high mobility of OBUs and the large-scale dynamic network with fixed roadside units (RSUs) make the VANET vulnerable to jamming. The anti-jamming communication of VANETs can be significantly improved by using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to relay the OBU message. UAVs help relay the OBU message to improve the signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio of the OBU signals, and thus reduce the bit-error-rate of the OBU message, especially if the serving RSUs are blocked by jammers and/or interference, which is also demonstrated in this book.This book serves as a useful reference for researchers, graduate students, and practitioners seeking solutions to VANET communication and security related issues.

This book looks at the historical and political dynamics of the Sino-Indian border dispute in India’s Himalayan Frontiers. Going back into Tibetan history, the author examines the making of the McMahon Line at Simla Conference of 1913–14. It also takes a look at some of the neighbouring areas that had interaction with Tibet, as well as the border areas of Assam and Burma, both of which were British Indian provinces. By using new archival materials, this study further goes to consider the events during the years following the defining of the McMahon Line, which, verily, did not have a sound juridical basis even if it has been regarded by scholars as a suitable boundary. It further explores different aspects of the northern frontiers of India and Sino-Indian border dispute and relations. This volume will interest scholars and researchers of history, political science and area studies, especially those interested in the geopolitics of India, China and the Himalayan region.
