The first in a series of Science fiction action and adventure books about Amber, a 16 year old girl from Earth who discovers she has extraordinary powers. Set in the present (for the moment), follow Amber through her journey from the point where her powers are discovered, through to its exiting conclusion. What is the Scraine ? Who are the Faireans? And why are they searching the universe for beings with a particular ability. Do the Faireans have an underlying motive which is hidden from the subjects they transport to back to Gallus Five for assessment as to the level of their abilities? The first sixteen years of her life have been quite uneventful but when Amber discovers that she can utilise a virtually untapped power source which she can use in conjunction with the "Eye of Tucana", all that changes. The power source and the "Eye" can be used for the purposes of travelling in space, time-travel and even travel into parallel dimensions. In addition to time travel the power source can also be used to allow her to perform amazing, and at times superhuman feats. As she travels she meets up with a number of beings from different planets and Amber forms some very special relationships with some of the people she meets along the way, relationships which will develop even further as the series progresses. As Ambers powers increase there are a number of choices she must make. Who can she trust? Who are her friends and more importantly who are her enemies? If you like stories of Time travel, Space travel and contact between various civilisations in the universe you will not be able to put this down and at the end you will be searching for the next exciting instalment in Ambers adventures. Where do I begin? That's a difficult question in and of itself but when your life is transformed into something else, do you start when you're born or when your life truly began?I was born in London as Gabriel Wallace. The child of high society; although I was raised to appreciate everything that softly landed in my hand. I followed all the rules. I worked hard, studied hard and ended up a captain in the Royal Navy before my twenty fifth birthday. Unfortunately, I saw the world through my own eyes, not the eyes of my superiors and my vision was clear. I knew my duty. I knew my job. I also knew deep down, regardless of the loyalty my commission required, my stance was in opposition and it was but a matter of time before they'd force me to stand alone. Fortunately for me, my crew was loyal too and I had the full support of my closest friend and confidant as well.
