What does science tell us about motivation? This book challenges common myths about motivation and offers readers strategies for successfully motivating themselves and others. Many unscientific and inaccurate ideas about motivation persist because they seem so logical, simple, or appealing. For example, we may say that someone is amp ldquo unmotivated amp rdquo and assume that this is just part of their personality, whereas in reality everyone is motivated and it amp rsquo s more likely that their inaction is related to their interests or to their environment. This book reveals the scientific truth about motivation. Readers will learn to identify and debunk ten persistent myths about motivation-for example, that visualizing success leads to success, that competition increases motivation for everyone, and that rewards are the best way to enhance motivation-and replace those myths with accurate knowledge that will help them take positive steps toward their goals. Each chapter uses cutting-edge psychological research and theory to offer scientifically supported strategies for boosting motivation in a variety of contexts including school, work, health, and parenting.

The book first explores the cybersecurity’s landscape and the inherent susceptibility of online communication system such as e-mail, chat conversation and social media in cybercrimes. Common sources and resources of digital crimes, their causes and effects together with the emerging threats for society are illustrated in this book. This book not only explores the growing needs of cybersecurity and digital forensics but also investigates relevant technologies and methods to meet the said needs. Knowledge discovery, machine learning and data analytics are explored for collecting cyber-intelligence and forensics evidence on cybercrimes.Online communication documents, which are the main source of cybercrimes are investigated from two perspectives: the crime and the criminal. AI and machine learning methods are applied to detect illegal and criminal activities such as bot distribution, drug trafficking and child pornography. Authorship analysis is applied to identify the potentialsuspects and their social linguistics characteristics. Deep learning together with frequent pattern mining and link mining techniques are applied to trace the potential collaborators of the identified criminals. Finally, the aim of the book is not only to investigate the crimes and identify the potential suspects but, as well, to collect solid and precise forensics evidence to prosecute the suspects in the court of law.

Electronic skins are critical for many applications in human-machine-environment interactions. Tactile sensitivity over large areas can be especially applied to prosthetics. Moreover, the potential for wearables, interactive surfaces, and human robotics have propelled research in this area. In this Element, we provide an account and directional atlas of the progress in materials and devices for electronic skins, in the context of sensing principles and skin-like features. Additionally, we give an overview of essential electronic circuits and systems used in large-area tactile sensor arrays. Finally, we present the challenges and provide perspectives on future developments.

In this our generation everybody is looking for a way to acquire wisdom so as to be successful in life the bible says that wisdom is the principal thing, therefore I advice you to get wisdom and with all thy getting, get understanding. Wisdom is the application of information for a positive result. This book is written out of many years of teaching and experience, on the subject of wisdom and the process towards acquiring wisdom. It also could be called an x-ray into the life of a man of wisdom. People go to the University to study philosophy. Philosophy (the branch of knowledge or academic study devoted to the systematic examination of basic concepts such as truth, existence, reality, causality, and freedom) it is a branch of social science that deals with the study of wisdom. Philo means study while Sophia means wisdom. This word (Sophia) originated from the Greek word or the school of thought known as Sophists (Greek sophistes," expert, master craftsman, man of wisdom), originally, name applied by the ancient Greeks to learned men, such as the Seven Wise Men of Greece; in the 5th century BC, a name applied to itinerant teachers who provided instruction in several higher branches of learning for a fee. The wise men from the east that came to worship Jesus at his birth may belong to this group of Greek philosophers. Note that Christ was born at the period of Roman government which was the peak of Greeks civilization.

This book will focus on the life of Joseph. Many lessons can be learned from the story of Joseph.First: God is with us no matter our life situation. At various stages of his life, Joseph was a slave, a prisoner, and a national leader. Wherever Joseph was, God was at work in his life in ways Joseph could not have understood at the time.Second: God calls His people to live pure lives. Joseph refused to join in an adulterous relationship with his master's wife. Though his integrity led to prison rather than a promotion, God later honored Joseph's faithfulness in a far greater way. In the end, Potiphar would have been servant to Joseph.Third: The account of Joseph and Potiphar teaches us that our success is in direct proportion to God's blessing. Joseph was successful in whatever he did. As Potiphar's servant, as a model prisoner, and as a national leader, Joseph was successful because God was with him: "The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph's care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did" (Gen 39v23).

2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.We are going to explore this very verse in seeking to understand prayer but our focus will be on prayer and the power of prayer. Let's review these four steps to cleansing: Humb-ling, Praying, Seeking and Turning. We can do all these things by His grace. God is the source of revival and life. This is a fact. We are not saying that the whole revival pro-cess is in our hands. The revival process starts with God.Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the LORD saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice. And He saw that there was no man, And was asto-nished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him; And His righteousness upheld Him. Isaiah 59:15,16, .Revival is in essence a bringing of new life to His wayward people. We, however, must understand that God already has done His part. Jesus Christ, His Servant, has already died, come alive and ascended above. He has already sent His Holy Spirit to work among His people. He has even told us how His Spirit would work among His people (2). God has already done His part Now we need to respond. The whole condition that 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 is formed around is established upon God's promise. Now it is time for God's people to act
