Extremophile sind Mikroorganismen, die in extremsten Umgebungen gedeihen k nnen und eine potenzielle Quelle f r Proteine darstellen, die unter solchen Bedingungen stabil sind. Die von diesen Organismen produzierten Proteine haben spezifische Mechanismen f r ihre L slichkeit bei hohen Salzkonzentrationen entwickelt. Es wird interessant sein zu untersuchen, ob kompatible L sungsmittel hohe Salzkonzentrationen im Haloarcheal-System ersetzen k nnen, ohne die Funktion und Stabilit t der Proteine zu beeintr chtigen. Das HS4-Gen wurde bereits in pTZ57R/T kloniert. Die Subklonierung des HS4-Gens aus dem pTZ57R/T-Klon in den pET28a (+)-Expressionsvektor f r die Proteinexpression war also erfolgreich. Studien zur berexpression des Proteins wurden durchgef hrt. Eine hohe Produktion des gew nschten Proteins konnte jedoch nicht erreicht werden. Ein vollst ndiges Verst ndnis des Mechanismus k nnte die Verwendung dieser neuartigen Proteine in der Forschung und in industriellen Prozessen revolutionieren.
