Sustainable Renewable Energy Resources in Sorting Chad Electrical Energy Crises
This book is based on my Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) obtained at the University of America in Willemstad, Curacao, United States of America. Renewable energy resources are crucial for the sustainable development of countries in the modern world. Countries work with a variety of electrical companies to establish industrial energy systems that rely on renewable resources for long-term supply. In Chad, the government is actively addressing this issue by involving the Ministry in charge of Energy, the National Refinery Company (NRC), and other development actors to implement diverse sources of electricity. Traditionally, fuel-based electricity has been the primary option, but due to its environmental impact and the limited availability of oil, there is an urgent need to diversify the raw materials used for electricity generation. Numerous studies suggest that Chad, located in the African Sahel area, could utilise solar or wind-based electricity generation. This book aims to provide an understanding of potential solutions in Chad that can be applied not only within the country but also in other African nations.

Libya and Chad have gone to war with each other several times since Independence, ostensibly over their rival claims to the disputed Aozou strip. The author traces the ethnic, cultural and economic links between them over the centuries and shows how these connections contribute to present rivalries. There follows an analysis of Colonel Moammar Gadafi's aggressive policies towards Chad, which reflect his concern for Lybia's security and desire to increase its influence; his struggle against French influence in the region; and his perception of his country as a liberating force for fellow-Muslims in Chad and elsewhere. The author concludes that continued Libyan interest in Chadian affairs is unavoidable and that mutual hostility will continue into the foreseeable future. There are maps of the trade routes of northern Africa and the central Sahara and Sudan.
