Os micro-organismos e seus produtos metab licos s o considerados os principais respons veis pelas doen as pulpares e periapicais. Para que o tratamento endod ntico tenha sucesso, importante reduzir ou eliminar os micro-organismos o que obtido por meio de instrumentos e subst ncias qu micas auxiliares. Nessa perspectiva a terapia fotodin mica vem sendo utilizada como um tratamento complementar que se utiliza do laser de baixa pot ncia associado a um fotossensibilizador para promover a morte dos micro-organismos no sistema de canais radiculares. Assim, este livro procura descrever com funciona a a o da terapia fotodin mica em canais radiculares contaminados por Candida Albicans, ajudando os cirurgi es-dentistas cl nicos e especialistas no combate as infec es dent rias de forma a lograr o xito nos seus tratamentos.
O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar o efeito do co-iniciador alternativo 4,4'bis-dimetilaminobenzidrol (BZN) no grau de convers o (GC) e nas propriedades mec nicas e biol gicas de resinas compostas e a correla o entre metodologias para teste de GC de resinas compostas. As resinas compostas foram manipuladas e submetidas aos testes de microdureza (VHN), resist ncia compress o e flexural (MPa), m dulo de elasticidade (GPa), GC (%, espectroscopia micro-Raman e FT-IR), citotoxicidade in vitro (frente s c lulas fibrobl sticas 3T3) e avalia o in vitro da ader ncia de Candida albicans e Streptococcus mutans sobre as resinas experimentais. Para o Experimento 2, foram usadas tr s resinas experimentais com DMAEMA (DMAEMA0,2, DMAEMA0,5 e DMAEMA1,2), e submetidas a tr s testes para avalia o de GC: espectroscopia micro-Raman, FT-IR ATR e FT-IR com confec o de pastilhas de KBr (FT-IR KBr). Conclui-se que a inclus o do co-iniciador BZN fornece potencial antimicrobiano resina composta, sem comprometer o grau de convers o e as propriedades mec nicas. E que as tr s metodologias estudadas influenciaram os valores obtidos de GC, na sequ ncia: micro-Raman > FT-IR ATR > FT-IR KBR.

Der Missbrauch von Kindern und Jugendlichen ist eine Realit t, die ihre k rperliche und geistige Gesundheit gef hrdet und ihre Lebensqualit t und ihr Wohlbefinden sowohl in der Gegenwart als auch in der Zukunft beeintr chtigt, da er schwerwiegende und oft irreversible Folgen hat. Die Relevanz dieses Themas beruht auf den in der klinischen Pflegepraxis empfundenen und beobachteten Schwierigkeiten bei der Erkennung, Meldung und berweisung von Situationen des Missbrauchs von Kindern/Jugendlichen, was die Notwendigkeit unterstreicht, das Pflegepersonal f r diese Realit t zu sensibilisieren Die Praxis und das Verhalten von Fachkr ften im Umgang mit Missbrauchsopfern von Kindern und Jugendlichen stehen in engem Zusammenhang mit der immer noch undurchsichtigen Sichtbarkeit, die das Problem im Alltag einnimmt. Das Nachdenken ber die Konzepte der verschiedenen Arten von Missbrauch und die damit verbundenen Vorstellungen hilft zu verstehen, wie man mit erkennbaren F llen umgeht.

Mikroorganismen und ihre Stoffwechselprodukte gelten als Hauptursache f r pulparen und periapikale Erkrankungen. F r den Erfolg einer endodontischen Behandlung ist es wichtig, die Mikroorganismen zu reduzieren oder zu beseitigen, was mit Instrumenten und chemischen Hilfsstoffen erreicht wird. In diesem Zusammenhang wird die photodynamische Therapie als erg nzende Behandlung eingesetzt, bei der ein Low-Level-Laser in Kombination mit einem Photosensibilisator verwendet wird, um die Mikroorganismen im Wurzelkanalsystem abzut ten. A pertin ncia da tem tica fundamenta-se, na dificuldade sentida e observada nos contextos da pr tica clinica de enfermagem em identificar, notificar e encaminhar as situa es de abuso na crian a/adolescente, o que torna emergente a necessidade de sensibilizar os enfermeiros para esta realidade.A pr tica e o comportamento dos profissionais na abordagem crian a e adolescente v tima de abuso encontram-se intimamente relacionados com a visibilidade, ainda obscura, que o problema assume no quotidiano. A reflex o sobre os conceitos dos diferentes tipos de abuso e as ideias a eles associadas contribuem para entender o encaminhamento nos casos identific veis.

Abuse perpetuated against children and adolescents is a reality that jeopardises their physical and mental health, compromising their quality of life and well-being both in the present and in the future, as it leaves serious and often irreversible consequences. The relevance of this topic is based on the difficulty felt and observed in the context of clinical nursing practice in identifying, notifying and referring situations of child/adolescent abuse, which makes it necessary to raise nurses' awareness of this reality.The practice and behaviour of professionals in dealing with child and adolescent victims of abuse are closely related to the still obscure visibility that the problem assumes in everyday life. Reflecting on the concepts of the different types of abuse and the ideas associated with them helps to understand how to deal with identifiable cases.
