A welcoming project carried out in the neonatal ICU of a teaching hospital, which focuses on caring for the newborn as a whole, as part of their family. By valuing the presence of a patient's sibling during the visit, family bonds and affections are rebuilt amid the insecurity of hospitalization. The burgeoning bottled water industry presents a paradox: Why do people choose expensive, environmentally destructive bottled water, rather than cheaper, sustainable, and more rigorously regulated tap water? The Profits of Distrust links citizens' choices about the water they drink to civic life more broadly, marshalling a rich variety of data on public opinion, consumer behavior, political participation, geography, and water quality. Basic services are the bedrock of democratic legitimacy. Failing, inequitable basic services cause citizen-consumers to abandon government in favor of commercial competitors. This vicious cycle of distrust undermines democracy while commercial firms reap the profits of distrust – disproportionately so from the poor and racial/ethnic minority communities. But the vicious cycle can also be virtuous: excellent basic services build trust in government and foster greater engagement between citizens and the state. Rebuilding confidence in American democracy starts with literally rebuilding the basic infrastructure that sustains life.

Political scientists and public administration scholars have long recognized that innovation in public agencies is contingent on entrepreneurial bureaucratic executives. But unlike their commercial counterparts, public administration "entrepreneurs" do not profit from their innovations. What motivates enterprising public executives? How are they created? Manuel P. Teodoro's theory of bureaucratic executive ambition explains why pioneering leaders aren not the result of serendipity, but rather arise out of predictable institutional design. Teodoro explains the systems that foster or frustrate entrepreneurship among public executives. Through case studies and quantitative analysis of original data, he shows how psychological motives and career opportunities shape administrators' decisions, and he reveals the consequences these choices have for innovation and democratic governance. Tracing the career paths and political behavior of agency executives, Teodoro finds that, when advancement involves moving across agencies, ambitious bureaucrats have strong incentives for entrepreneurship. Where career advancement occurs vertically within a single organization, ambitious bureaucrats have less incentive for innovation, but perhaps greater accountability. This research introduces valuable empirical methods and has already generated additional studies. A powerful argument for the art of the possible, Bureaucratic Ambition advances a flexible theory of politics and public administration. Its lessons will enrich debate among scholars and inform policymakers and career administrators.

Es handelt sich um eine explorative Studie, die ganz allgemein versucht, die Prozesse im Zusammenhang mit dem elektronischen Handel zu verstehen, einschlie lich des digitalen Marketingprozesses, der f r die Durchf hrung von Aktionen mit Werbemechanismen unerl sslich ist, um zu verstehen, wie das Kaufverhalten des Einzelnen funktioniert, um bessere Wege zu finden, um die ffentlichkeit anzusprechen. This study sought to identify the purchasing behaviour of consumers in a virtual environment, more specifically users of the "facebook" social network. The study is exploratory in nature, as it seeks, in general, to understand the processes surrounding e-commerce, including the digital marketing process, which is essential for carrying out actions involving advertising mechanisms, with the aim of understanding how individuals' purchasing behaviour works in order to find better ways of approaching the public. To this end, a questionnaire was carried out using the "google forms" platform to analyse and understand the socio-economic profile, as well as the respondent's perception of and interaction with the various types of adverts, on the internet and social networks, which try to induce the individual to make a purchase of a good or service related to the work in order to obtain the results of this research. In this way, the analysis of purchasing behaviour in the virtual environment demonstrates the importance of understanding how advertising mechanisms affect respondents' purchasing behaviour in the virtual environment.

Lo studio ha carattere esplorativo, in quanto cerca, in generale, di comprendere i processi che circondano il commercio elettronico, compreso il processo di marketing digitale, essenziale per realizzare azioni che coinvolgono i meccanismi pubblicitari, con l'obiettivo di capire come funziona il comportamento d'acquisto degli individui per trovare modi migliori per avvicinarsi al pubblico. A tal fine, stato realizzato un questionario utilizzando la piattaforma "google forms" per analizzare e comprendere il profilo socio-economico, nonch la percezione e l'interazione dell'intervistato con i vari tipi di pubblicit , su internet e sui social network, che cercano di indurre l'individuo ad effettuare un acquisto di un bene o di un servizio legato al lavoro per ottenere i risultati di questa ricerca. In questo modo, l'analisi del comportamento di acquisto nell'ambiente virtuale dimostra l'importanza di comprendere come i meccanismi pubblicitari influenzino il comportamento di acquisto degli intervistati nell'ambiente virtuale.
