CELESTIAL IMAGES by The Moon Lady, Doris Fulton, is a unique astrophotography book which includes photos of the Moon and deep sky objects such as the Orion Nebula. Of interest, the author is an amateur and did not begin this endeavor until she reached her 60s, retirement age. She eventually procured three telescopes in total, the first of which was bought for her by her late astronomy husband, Ken Fulton, The Light-Hearted Astronomer. She learned how to take these spectacular heavenly photos and download them onto social media platforms. She has taken so many lunar images that she became known as "The Moon Lady". This is not a scientific book but her objective is to demonstrate that astrophotography can be fun and simple. She started out using one 6-inch Orion StarBlast telescope and a hand-held Nikon Coolpix camera held to the eyepiece of the telescope. She has recently extended her lunar interests to deep sky using her Seestar S50. In August of 2024, she actually took a picture of the Comet Tsuchinshan - ATLAS. Always look up.... Happy Trails from The Moon Lady
