Lydia s War, is the enthralling story, of how one seemingly immature and hotheaded young woman, blossoms into a confident and manipulative schemer, in just a few short years. Forced to work within Hitler s own countryside retreat, as the Nazi Party seemingly prepare for war, Lydia begins to realise, that personal opinion needs to be founded upon knowledge rather than guesswork and assumption. Birthright, and bloodline do not necessarily, dictate one s future pathway in life, as everyone should consider each argument carefully, before pining one s own colours to its mast. As war seems inevitable, Lydia begins to understand, that perhaps she was special, and that her future lay in what was to come, and not perhaps, in the "Here and Now"
