Rainer Maria Rilke: His Last Friendship -
Rainer Maria Rilke's Last Friendship (الصداقة الأخيرة لراينر ماريا ريلكه) by the French writer Edmond Jaloux is a literary and biographical work that explores one of the final emotional and intellectual relationships in the life of the renowned poet Rainer Maria Rilke. The book presents a unique portrait of the poet through letters, reflections, and personal observations that illuminate the final chapter of his life. At the heart of the work are Rilke's letters to Nimet Eloui Bey, a woman whose friendship deeply affected the poet during his final years. Through these letters, readers discover a more intimate side of Rilke-his thoughts on beauty, life, spirituality, and the creative process. The correspondence reveals the delicate emotional and intellectual bond that developed between them and highlights the sensitivity and depth of Rilke's personality. Edmond Jaloux, a prominent French critic and writer, provides context and interpretation for these letters, offering readers insight into the cultural and literary environment surrounding Rilke. His reflections help place the poet's final relationships within the broader framework of European literary history and the spiritual themes that shaped Rilke's work. Blending biography, literary criticism, and personal correspondence, Rainer Maria Rilke's Last Friendship offers a rare glimpse into the inner world of one of the most influential poets of modern literature. The book is an important resource for readers interested in Rilke's life, European literary culture, and the intimate connections that shaped the poet's final years.

"To read Rainer's screenplays is to rediscover, even reinvent, the films all over again, but more importantly to realize that images and mise-en-scène are as key to how Rainer's films work as is language." —The Independent "The scripts record the unique structure of [Rainer's] films, the stresses, strains, and crackling of voices layering over and into one another. Their publication is an important moment for feminist film." —Cineaste "Rainer's films are not highly accessible but are important to the critical imagination as an example of the sustained exploration of political and feminist theory." —Choice "Rainer's important work in the area of avant-garde filmmaking in the seventies and eighties is amply recorded in this book . . . " —Cantrills Filmnotes' The scripts of Rainer's five films, presented here along with essays, an interview, and bibliography, demonstrate the evolution of her political consciousness as well as her creative engagement with the contemporary film and cultural scene. These texts challenge the illusionist and ideological presumptions of mainstream culture and cinema.

I am a soul that is currently being human. My name is Keenan Rainer and that's pretty much who I am. " As above, so below. " This book is the first of an anthology known as the "Manifestation Manifesto". A collection of poems chronicling my life and thought patterns at the age of 24. Every single time I write, and especially with this book, I've learned and continue to learn more and more about myself. No matter what I plan on writing, my soul and intuition decide they prefer to write for me instead. The more I write for myself, the more I connect with others. The "Oneness" of us all is what motivates me to write and bring us together. Twenty-four is literally the age I was when writing this collection of poems. Twenty-four is also a very very important number in my life. I am enamored by numerology and the vibration of numbers, thus carrying this theme into fruition. I hope to connect and vibe with you, the reader. I wish that we grow, learn and evolve together as we manifest our best lives You can learn more about me, my writing, my music, and more at www.keenanrainer.com

Understanding Rainer Werner Fassbinder introduces scholars and students to the controversial and prolific but brief career of a filmmaker hailed as one of the New German Cinema's most talented exponents. Combining a chronological survey with a thematic exploration, Wallace Steadman Watson reviews the entirety of Fassbinder's artistic output, focusing specifically on fifteen of the filmmaker's thirty-eight feature-length works. Watson's interpretations of these films, all of which he studied in Germany, scrutinise the financial constraints, material conditions, and script development involved in their production.Watson draws on a wide assortment of Fassbinder interviews—many of which are not available in English—and on theoretical and critical approaches employed in the Frankfort School, performance and reception theories, gay and lesbian film theory, and studies of melodrama and camp. Watson also incorporates his own interviews with Fassbinder's mother and with the woman who served as Fassbinder's film editor and companion during the final four years of his life.

"It goes without saying that a dance is a dance and a book about dance is a book. Though they may meet at the intersection of Art and Good Intentions, I find myself greedy. I have a longstanding infatuation with language, a not-easily assailed conviction that it, above all else, offers a key to clarity. Not that it can replace experience, but rather holds a mirror to our experience, gives us distance when we need it. So here I am, in a sense, trying to 'replace' my performances with a book, greedily pushing language to clarify what already was clear in other terms. But, alas, gone. This has seemed one good reason to compile a book out of the remains of my performances, letting the language fall where it may. Let it be said 'She usually makes performances and has also made a book.'" -Yvonne RainerForty-five years after its publication, Primary Information brings Yvonne Rainer's classic book back into print in an exact facsimile. In 1974, Yvonne Rainer published Work 1961-73, an illustrated catalog of her performance works up to that point. In these years, as the art world turned toward minimalism, Rainer and her Judson Dance Theater colleagues were engaged in a parallel, and equally radical, redefinition of dance. Stripping dance of its pomp and self-serious virtuosity, they created what dancer and choreographer Pat Catterson has called "the people's dance." Or, as Rainer put it, instead of the "overblown plot" of traditional dance, she explored the "obvious" alternative: "stand, walk, run, eat, carry bricks, show movies, or move and be moved by some thing other than oneself." Work 1961-73 chronicles the years when Rainer found herself and her work at the heart of a revolution in dance, performance and art. Written in Rainer's wonderful frank, funny and perceptive prose, and illustrated with photographs, handwritten scores, sketches, press articles and ephemera, Work 1961-73 is a period document and an instruction manual, an archive and a manifesto. A sought-after, rare classic, Work 1961-73 is brought back into print in a true facsimile edition by Primary Information; the only change is the small addition of new notes at the back of the book. One of the most influential artists of her generation, dancer, choreographer and filmmaker Yvonne Rainer (born 1934) was a founding member of Judson Dance Theater in New York City and a leading figure in the development of minimalist and postmodern dance.
Weltinnenraum: Rainer Maria Rilkes Duineser Elegien in Resonanz Mit Dem Buddha
Rencontres Rainer Maria Rilke
