Dans le Livre de l'Ordre de Chevalerie (1279-1283), Ramon Llull se propose de syst matiser et de guider les novices int ress s par la fonction de chevalier et d sireux d'entrer dans l'Ordre de Chevalerie. Pour ce faire, il num re des valeurs spirituelles, morales et thiques. Le docteur clair invoque ainsi les valeurs chr tiennes pour expliquer les caract ristiques de cette charge, qui n' tait destin e qu' un petit nombre durant le Moyen ge europ en. Cette syst matisation met en vidence le caract re divin du chevalier qui, pour Llull, doit tre au service de la foi chr tienne dans sa lutte contre les infid les, en pacifiant les hommes. Cette oeuvre a t la contribution de Llull l'uniformisation et l' tablissement de son propre code d' thique de la chevalerie travers les polarit s, les vertus/vices, ainsi que la d finition de la chevalerie, de ses coutumes et des enjeux de cette noble fonction.

Dette er boken om Gruppe 5 - et kunstnerfellesskap som besto av fem billedkunstnere, Ramon Isern (1914-1989), Lars Tiller (1924-1994), Roar Wold (1926-2001), Håkon Bleken (f. 1929) og Halvdan Ljøsne (1929-2006). De var tilknyttet arkitekturavdelingen ved tidligere NTH i Trondheim (Norges tekniske høgskole, nå NTNU). De var ansatt som lærere og felles for dem alle var en grunnleggende interesse for hvordan bygge et bilde rent formalestetisk. Med et modernistisk kunstsyn, og en akademisk tilnærming til billedproduksjonen, har disse fem kunstnerne satt sine spor i norsk kunsthistorie, men også i arkitekturhistorien gjennom sine lærergjerninger ved NTH. Deres pedagogiske virke bygget på en visuell orden. En post-Bauhaus abstraksjon med grunnprinsipper innen konstruksjon og struktur. Undervisningen var visuell, med praktiske oppgaver. Gjennom bruk av kull, sjablonger, collage og maling var målet å rydde i billedflaten for å skape orden.
