At the beginning of the common era, the two major imperial powers of the ancient Mediterranean and Near East were Rome and Parthia. In this book, Jake Nabel analyzes Roman-Parthian interstate politics by focusing on a group of princes from the Arsacid family—the ruling dynasty of Parthia—who were sent to live at the Roman court. Although Roman authors called these figures “hostages” and scholars have studied them as such, Nabel draws on Iranian and Armenian sources to argue that the Parthians would have seen them as the emperor’s foster-children. These divergent perspectives allowed each empire to perceive itself as superior to the other, since the two sides interpreted the exchange of royal children through conflicting cultural frameworks. Moving beyond the paradigm of great powers in conflict, The Arsacids of Rome advances a new vision of interstate relations with misunderstanding at its center.

The author suggests that practitioners understand hip hop as both a thing that can be appropriated and authenticated, made real, in the local and global context and as a way that enables them to transform their lives and futures in the rapidly globalising urban environments of Delhi. The dancers, artists, musicians and cultural theorists that feature in this book construct a multitude of voices in their narratives to formulate their ‘own’ transcultural voices within global hip hop. Through a combination of linguistic ethnography, sociolinguistics and discourse studies, the book addresses issues including gender and sexuality, identity construction and global culture.

- In this study we can recycle of polyurethane waste products by glycoliseis of polyurethane by different molecular weight of polyethylene glycol (400,600,1500,4000,6000 MWt).- We hydroliseis of vegetable oil to produce their fatty acid mixture.- We esterification of glcolyzed polyurethane (400,600,1500,4000,6000 MWt ) by using oleic acid, linoleic acid, castor fatty acids, rapeseed fatty acids and coconut fatty acids to produce GPUO, GPUL, GPUA, GPUB and GPUC.- We prepared different formula of metal working cutting fluids by mixing distilled water with vegetable oil with different prepared emulsifier and tween 80 as co emulsifier as experimental above .- After prepared different formula of metal working cutting fluids we study Tribological properities of it (Corrosion Inhibition Properties, Kinematic viscosity, Emulsion stability, Surface tension, pH values, Specific Gravity) and Studies of dynamic light scattering .- In case of castor oil the values of kinematic viscosities for formulated cutting fluids are highest value than that in case of rapeseed oil and coconut oil, that can be attributed to the relative low viscosities of rapeseed oil and coconut oil compared to castor oil.
