Teach Me to Kill: The Shocking True Story of the Pamela Smart Murder Case
With a New Introduction By the AuthorOn the evening of May 1,1990, in Derry, New Hampshire, two teenage boys lay in wait for a young insurance salesman named Gregory Smart to return home from work. When he did, they ambushed him. One held Gregory by the hair, while the other fired a single close-range shot from a .38-caliber handgun into the victim's skull, killing him instantly. As the police investigation unfolded, it soon became clear that Pamela Smart, the victim's wife of less than a year, was behind the murder. Investigators found that she had sexually manipulated 16-year-old Billy Flynn, who in turn enlisted his friends, into committing the killing. Aired on live television, the Pamela Smart murder case mesmerized the nation, and the world. Originally published in 1991, Teach Me to Kill is an in-depth look at the case, which continues to draw widespread media attention. Author Stephen Sawicki, a correspondent for People magazine, was the only national reporter to cover the case from start to finish. His reporting includes in-depth interviews with the police, prosecutors, defense lawyers, friends, family members, classmates, and Pamela Smart herself. The book also provides a new introduction by the author.
Jesus! It's me Pamela. I have a Problem! Pamela, I have an Answer.
This is such a time as this assignment laid upon my heart from God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is written in Psalms 127:3, "Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: the fruit of the womb is his reward." Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven," as it is written in Matthew 19:14. When the Holy Spirit gave me the commission to teach the children to preach the Word of God, this scripture screamed to my soul. Let the children hear the truth and bear witness of the truth concerning the issues of life through the living Word of God. My son Jordan would bring other people's children to me to pray for them and witness them to fix their issues through the Word. The Holy Spirit spoke again to teach the children to preach the Word of God. We are not always around our children when they are at school, out playing with friends, on the Internet, etc. As our children are led astray into drugs, perverseness, bullying, etc., it's time for our children to lead each other into righteousness through the Word of God. This is where my book, being inspired by the Holy Spirit, comes in: Jesus It's Me, Pamela. I Have a Problem Pamela, I Have an Answer. Love to love.
